Aye they are great. Sent my 7 yo Vison 4 back for repair, and had it back within the week fixed FOC. Top service, it’s just made me purchase a pair of E4 brakes from them to replace my XTs.
Fed up with my rear XT and dropping wheel out to pump pistons out to allow for pad wear! Tried bleeding but still comes back. Just ordered Hope E4s last night!
@ Tom, you’ve just saved me the expense of trying one on my 5010! Thanks. 🙂 Im wanting a cage that wont interfere with Thule roof carrier and thought the Fabric might have fixed that issue.
My 4 year old reverb packed up recently. I couldn’t find the receipt or any proof of where I purchased it from. On a whim I sent an email to CRC thinking I may have bought it from them, they said they had no record of me buying it from them, but they were really helpful and said to send it in to them and they would forward it on to Fishers for inspection and repair. Anyway 2 weeks later and I receive an email from Fishers stating they will replace my Reverb FOC as a goodwill gesture. Very impressed, that’s customer service.
So I would say take it to a SRAM dealer and ask nicely if they can forward it to Fishers for repair.
Fantastic bike for trail riding. I just so happen to have a 2016 Black frame in large with Cane creek inline for sale 😉
It was a replacement warranty frame. PM if interested. Will be putting it in the classifieds in the new year.
I had the v1 alloy Solo and always felt it was too short. It rode lovely apart from that. Great all round trail bike. I’ve got a v2 due to be delivered next week all being well
Had a Spitfire since feb this year. Ride it about 3 rides a week (5Hrs). Unfortunatly mine developed a crack on the frame. Pretty quick turnaround with the warranty replacement though. Didn’t even have to send the frame away for inspection, just sent pics. When I stripped the components from the old frame the bearings were still silky smooth. Now been riding the new 2016 one for a couple of weeks and loving it. Wouldn’t let it put me of buying Banshee again.
Love mine on my Spitfire, but has been to TFT for a 6 week period as the shock body was worn and hey had to wait on stock from the states. Got rebuilt with new 2016 internals and back now. Great feeling shock though, so plush, yet flick the climb switch and it firms up noticebly.
Sounds great Chief. @Volatilemike, I’m running Pikes at 150mm. Had them 18 months and also been on a SC Solo with the 140 air spring. Great fork, no issues yet.
Enduro, freeriding, all-mountain, xc, fat biking, DH, CX, it’s all riding bikes and having fun so who gives a s#it? As long as folk are out enjoying themselves. Beats sitting in front of the TV.
May have a cracked frame, but it hasn’t put me off the Spitfire. Cannot wait to get back out when frame is sorted. A fantastic all-rounder of a bike, that is way more capable than I’ll ever be.
