Hi, the huntsman is 100% UK legal to carry,
Where as the wingman should you be stopped you would have to provide good reason for carrying due to the fact it has a locking blade.

The suspension the same as the wingman as far as the law and is good value for money but the blades are quite small for the size of the tool.

I carry a leatherman cs4 as its legal and has good size pliers for the size of the tool,
    But quite expensive.

I have a voodoo hoodoo and I am very pleased with it.

For a new bike you will be hard pressed to find something better for the money.
I have changed the tyres as in the thick mud that is a constant at the moment the ardents do skate around a bit.
But in dry/damp they are great and on Tarmac they are pretty fast and easy on the legs compared to their replacements.
Which is good if it will be used for commuting aswell.

He paid his money, he’s happy and he’s not bothering you,
    What’s your problem.

A lot of people seem to concern themselves with what other people are riding, how they are riding it and what they are wearing when they are riding it.

    Why, just enjoy yourself.

I am sure he’s a nice bloke and I know who I would rather go for a drink with.

    Maybe mine had dried up.
Glad you got it sorted as said above mine works very well.
And now no more getting whacked in Jacobs when going down hill.

Hi, no, i had no problem with the post fitting and clamping in the seat tube.
It was when riding home from the trail and hitting a bump in the road that with a rather loud creak my seat tilted back..
Due to the way it clamps the seat and the cones that hold the seat at the preferred angle not having any indents to help hold it firm.

I was having a little trouble with my rear deraileur,
And put it off until attention was unavoidable through fear of not understanding how it works.
But using park tools online guide I properly set and indexed both mechs and now it shifts silky smooth.

Turned out to be very simple and not complicated at all.

I checked the pressure in mine and it was bang on 25psi so I left it.
Also I think for the money they should include a small sachet of fibre grip as it recommends using it.
After some research I came to the conclusion that this was carbon assembly paste, which cost me another tennor for a blinking great tube.

I still had to torq it up by feel (my torq driver only goes up to ten) far more than I was comfortable doing to stop the seat moving.

Oh, I love riding the hoodoo,
It’s the fact I can’t go out without returning with it completely caked in mud that is wearing a bit thin.

Also my posts return action was subdued to say the least on first fitting ( only a few days ago).
But after a couple of rides it is now very quick.

I do wipe mine over with a silicone cloth ( gun cleaning cloth) after cleaning and drying after use.

    Hope this helps

The thin straw tube is inside the spring.
Took me a while to work out as a complete novice to bike mechanics.

    Hi,
New to mountain bikes and to the forum.
I am just entering into the creaky knees phase of my life and decided to get a bike again my last being a bmx in the 80s, Here’s mine,

I have wheels, tyres, tubes, fork, stem, bars and new headset already.
I hope to get a complete slx groupset and a seat post in the next few weeks before I start to build it.
Was going to send it off to orange for a refinish but I know if I did I would be too worried about scratching it to ride it as it should be.
