Was on the news a few weeks ago that local councils were buying homeless people one way tickets up north to get rid of them rather than use the money to try and help them.

I have enjoyed a day out at the races and at the dogs.

It was exactly that a day out with friends, a meal and a few drinks and only took as much money as I could afford to lose.

Casinos and betting shops hold no appeal to me as I am a pessimist so expect to lose. Most gamblers are the opposite and either believe they are lucky or have worked out a system often contrary to evidence.

They filmed that scene for fools and horses on location rather than a studio and had the original chandelier replaced with a replica for the scene. The director informed them in no uncertain terms they must not laugh during the take as they only had one shot at it due to the replica costing a lot more to have made than the original was worth.

Head straight for the back door.

I am still sorting stuff in a house I inherited from a dear friend.

Lots of stuff went to the tip, made me very sad doing so as I had to be brutal if I needed to get it done.

Lots and lots of stuff went to rspca shop , some stuff what probably should have gone to the tip but I made sure each load had some good stuff in to make up the stuff that would have found it’s way into their bin.

Then I eBayed some stuff like model kits and dinky toys.

So divide into three piles tip, charity, sell.

When I used to fit windows I was always covered in white silicone and acrylic and I bumped into a friends mum who said based on my appearance “ oh you’re a painter, atleast your working”

another friends dad (Asian) told me of the birth of another mutual friend I had not seen in ages baby, “Paul’s had a baby,
only a girl but better than nothing”

You can slip into alcoholism drac it’s not always to mask som form of emotional or physical trauma

The cheap alcohol producers will put up thier prices to the shops, there not going to let the shops reap all the extra revenue especially if they are feeling the pinch of falling sales, then if they also produce more quality brands they may have to put the prices of those to meet the shortfall.

Probably not but remember that this is about more than addiction, it is also meant to try and tackle the anti social and negative health effects of excessive drinking.

Then They should make the pubs and bars landlords responsible for having drunk people on there premises like they used to be and then they would not serve people who were already legless then turning them out on the streets to be a problem for our struggling police forces and nhs

All the alcoholics will have less money for food and bills.

Wether it will effect people who are yet to be alcoholics who would have otherwise become alcoholics I don’t know.

When I was 28 I smashed my right heel which meant three months in plaster and on crutches with strict instructions not to put that foot on the floor while walking, It did not help I was also in a body brace for a fractured spine.

Apart from nearly falling down the stairs twice and killing myselfI did not find it to much of a problem, I think it will soon become second nature and your body will strengthen accordingly. Just don’t over do it and keep your eye out for slip hazards.

You need some advice on something, you post on here.
You get lots of unhelpful, pisstake replies and in amongst it you eventually get some sound advice.

I thought that’s how this place works.

Obviously Kryton may be a little touchy due to his obvious anxiety about his upcoming flight,

And as drivers go I would suggest ambulance drivers may be better skilled at driving than your average driver.
    The blue light drivers atleast.

In a future where ambulances drive themselves will they put people out of jobs or will there be two paramedics in the back.

I had a couple of broken teeth and my dentist referred me to the local hospital claiming it needed their expertise. Only to find when I got there the procedure was being done by a very nervous student dentist as part of his training.

How is anyone meant to make progress these days with ambulance drivers parking their vans left right and center. I don’t know who to blame more, the ambulance driver or the selfish bastard who had a heart attack.

Sooner this government cuts back on these self satisfying do gooders the better.

I live alone and I am currently single,
I can get quite lonely sometimes but don’t think I could live with anyone As my ocd would not allow it.
Just the thought of someone rearranging my cupboards is enough to put me off. :D

Don’t wear gym type Lycra undercrackers everyday as can cause a serious case of jock itch especially if you are built for comfort not speed.

Keep them cotton and baggy with plenty of space for good ventilation. No one wants mouldy cods.

Still used to get tickets to illegal raves, buy the tickets from a record shop then have to listen to pirate radio on the night to find out where it was.

Always when I get a pucka pie and chips from chip shop.
Remove lid of pie and dip your chips in said pie till there’s about about third of filling left. Top up pie with chips then replace lid before scoffing pie.
