I did see someone mashing around Gisburne in a hard hat the other week

Protection against squirrels dropping their nuts?

I bought some cheap wheels with mach1 mx rims for my commuter last year and could not see any wear indicators on them.
Could this also be the case with these that something will appear rather than something will disappear when they are worn.

Also, who torques a flippin pedal?

I do, 35nm on all mine (shimano cranks) and then check after first ride after fitting.

I would be demanding the shop sort it out ASAP.

Due to current circumstances the only time I get to ride is midnight on the road, so last night was the first time this month I felt confident I would not hit ice so was my first time out in feb.

Did 21 km last night then saw it was not added to my total because I had endomondo set on walking not cycling.
Is there any way I can edit it after the fact to get the ride added to my total or is it a lesson learned in checking before setting off.

Religion is the tool, you can’t blame a tool but those who wield it.

It is about religion at its worst and at this moment in time in Iraq that religion happens to be Islam that is being used in this way. It is not fundentally due to Islam itself as I see it no differently from any other religion.
It’s people choosing to use its influence to the gain.

Something that has happened since the start of time.
Proportioning any blame to Islam risks isolating good people of that faith and even driving angry young men towards twisted ideology.

To me its religion at its worst being manipulated by bad people.

I believe in right and wrong and good and evil.
Not biblical evil, satan and such like but that there are good good men and woman and evil men and woman.
And you cannot fight evil with a strongly worded letter. You need good men and woman prepared to use violence in the name of whats right.

A dead terrorist and a dead pilot are not equal in my eyes.
It is not just the method of death that separates them but motive.

A celebrated american sheriff was at an awards ceremony when a woman noticed he was wearing his side arm.
    “You expecting trouble sheriff”
“No mam, if I was expecting trouble I would have brought my rifle”

If all good men were hand wringers we would all be ****.

If IS in its entirety could be rounded up and put in prison for the rest of there natural, I would be happy with that. But don’t think that will happen.
IS left to murder and rape its way across Iraq and the levant unchecked or anywhere for that fact. Can’t be allowed to happen.

IS are murderous thugs using their take on religion as an excuse for there actions.

So, you are for the death penalty?

For certain crimes, or criminals I would not shed a tear.
But would want no ceremony or glorification.
And would not want the procedure changed in anyway for these people as others have suggested but treated the same as everyone else.

And the woman was part of a bunch of terrorists who killed 60 people in a hotel bombing.

If it was irrelevant IS would not be doing it.

If Jordan hung 2 people this morning, that is equally as reprehensible as what IS just did.

Really, hanging someone instantly breaking their neck.

Dousing someone in petrol and burning them alive, could have tied him to a stake, no stick him in a cage so we can watch him dance about on fire and film it with multiple cameras and edit it all together with special effects.

Here are the 2.25 on my winter bike before it went to all out muds.

I have 26×2.35 advanced protected on the front of my five and a 2.25 advanced on the rear.
The 2.35 is a beast, big, tuff and 55a throughout.
Grips really well in all but the thickest shite and has yet to clog.
Holds a little mud on the outer tread at slow speed that soon clears but the center stayed good.

The rear is smaller but still on par size wise with a 2.35 maxxis but a lot lighter than the front as the sidewalls are not protected. Rubber is 59a center and 55a on the edges and has the same tread design as the bigger tyre but has been scaled down to suite. Still very grippy and fast and also clears well due to the spacing.

Have the 2.25s front and back on my hardtail and would recommend them as a very good intermediate tyre and due to recent bargain pricing have stashed a few away in the loft.

I should be riding now, as my plan was every night at 10pm for an hour or two.
But I am worried about coming a cropper on the ice.

    Feel really bad.

I absolutely love paris Texas, every time I watch it I will it to end differently.
I also love the English patient and american graffiti for personal reasons.
The film that made me laugh hardest and longest was the first time I saw something about Mary, I literally could not catch a breathe and my sides were killing me.

Denzel makes a cracking film, training day and man on fire.

But can’t think of anything recently.

Large chains can move demo bikes between stores for you to try.
I am surprised that importer/suppliers don’t have demo bikes they can move around in between independant bike shops they do business with at request.

Done four sets with my trusty Stanley pipe cutter.
You get a slight ridge around the top off the cut which I take of with a diamond file otherwise headset, spacers and stem can be awkward to fit.
If using a hope hed doctor it pays to clean up the inside of the steerer at the cut, if using a star nut not so much of an issue.

Also have a star nut setter as well, not essential but works brilliantly and gets the job done in seconds.

I got a couple of pairs of kooga padded goal keepers undershorts,
Last year from m&m sports as they were under a tenner at the time.
    Padding is very good.

If it happened to me I would have been more worried about the welfare of the dog than my scuffed jacket or dented lid regardless of who’s fault the accident was.

I have lost dogs, members of the family for many years and I have fallen of a bike and dented my lid and even broken bones.

Seriously I would be at home that evening worrying about what happened to the dog not fretting over a few material belongings and some bruises.
