I used to moderate an airgun forum and the main problem was some people believed it should be child friendly despite having to be over 18 to join.
And when any subjects vaguely adult in nature were posted the above people would throw the toys out of the pram that there child might have read it.

I have had vaguely heated differences of opinion with both cougar and drac, and do not believe they abused there position. They just aired the opinion like any other member.

I have seen threads where members of the airgun industry have made cocks of themselves abusing disgruntled customers in the heat of debate on certain forums removed to save there reputation. Now that was mods abusing their power.

    Mods are people too. 😀

Yep, I use fairly cheap mixed martial arts knee pads from eBay when facing a hard day on my hands and knees.
Much better than the far more bulkier less comfortable tradesmen specific jobbies.

Sussed it, have to go into my amazon account to buy rather than through the kindle app.

Downloaded riotous assembly and will bookmark this thread for future reference.

    Lots of great suggestions thanks.
But none of which are available on kindle unlimited. And although most are listed as available in kindle and despite the fact it will let me download a sample it won’t let me purchase the books in there entirety.

Glad to hear of your positive experience boardingbob,
I was on 50mg for a week before being upped to 100mg.

My mood can fluctuate from from moderately happy to feelings of sadness back to happyish in a course of minutes at the moment.
But that said I am definatly feeling better since taking it but strangely functioning less.
Before I was carrying on despite feeling down and anxious but now to the unsympathetic eye I appear to be just very very lazy. 😀
    Which brings its own guilt.

Morecash I have read your recent posts thanks.

You can buy over the counter antihistamine based travel sickness tablets, I use one called stugeron 15 to help with nausea due to the anti depressant I am taking.

If think zippy kona is talking about diazapam for anxiety which you might be able to blag from you doc if going on a long journey (holiday) but doubt would for nipping down the shops on a bus.

My anxiety was triggered by worrying about a headache I had for several weeks,
before that I was pretty happy with my lot.

I hope Wednesday goes well for you.

    Thanks,
my Doc did send me for bloods as part of a general health check, what she tested for I don’t know.

I had recently lost all interest in this forum as I had in many things,
But of late found myself back here and even posted in the bike forum, which in itself I think is a sign of some improvement.

I have allways been quite headstrong but at the moment I am easily overwhelmed.

My hardtail is my preferred ride and fine for local rides. But due to old back injury any thing more leaves me in a lot of pain. So built an old five for the likes of swinley but spends most of its time gathering dust.

Wish I could get away with only one bike.

    Very sad and great words.
I don’t know when I will get back to swinley but when I do I will spare a thought for Mark.

I loved minder, that and fools were essential viewing as a kid.

Was not a big fan of the ray Daley years at the time but since seen them all repeated on the tellybox.
The very last episode was very funny and sad, ending with a recorded personal message from George thanking the viewers.

The people who I loved as a child are slowing shuffling off, very sad.
    Delboy will be next.

Recently got my eyes tested and reading glasses in asda. No complaints.
Although had to wait just under two weeks before they were ready.

It was one of the female presenters on LBC, and she was offended as it’s Christmas FFS,not her exact words.

Last year a radio presenter said her child’s primary school called Christmas the winter festival and winter break with no mention of the word Christmass as they did not want to offend the non Christian parents.

Guess what, this offended the Christians for obvious reasons and non Christians alike for being portrayed as the would be offended.

Stop worrying about what may offend and speak as you find and if you do offend where none was meant, apoligise if you are sorry.

Pat Healy: My real passion is my hobby. Mary: Really, what’s that? Pat Healy: I work with retards. Mary: Isn’t that a little, uhm, politically incorrect? Pat Healy: Well, heh, to hell with that… no one’s going to tell me who I can and can’t work with, right? Mary: No, I mean… Pat Healy: We got this one kid, Mongo… He’s got a forehead like a drive-in movie theatre, but he’s a good ship. So we don’t bust his chops too much. So, one day Mongo gets out of his cage… Mary: They keep him in a cage? Pat Healy: Well, it’s just an enclosure… Mary: No, but they keep him confined? Pat Healy: Right, yeah. Mary: That’s bullshit! Pat Healy: Well, that’s what I said! So, I went out and I got him, uh, I got him a leash. Mary: A leash? Pat Healy: Yeah, one of those ones you can hook on the clothesline, and he can run back and forth and, uh, there’s plenty of room for him to dig and play. That kid is really, uh, he’s really blossomed, you know?

Context is everything and wether offense is meant.
Also PC has no place in comedy.

Loved the Italian job when I was little and fell in love with Valerie Leon based on her small part.

Also when I was much older (15-16) but Cathy Dennis in a catsuit as she begged me to touch her all night long.

When changing ADs do you have to ween of one then build up on the replacement, or literally just stop the first and start the replacement.

Chip – I didn’t experience that at all. Go back to the doctors as citalopram may not be for you.

Glad your not having the problems I am.
I originally went to my GP with health concerns that I kept worrying about that rapidly turned into anxiety and then depression.

Before the cit I was functioning well, just very worried and down even with the anxiety as it was constant and health based so was not intensified by any going out and about. But now even taking a shower feels like a massive chore.

Anyone else have similar issues when starting citalopram?

Citalopram is kicking my arse at the moment.
Been on it six weeks now and I am constantly nauseous, extremely tired , no motivation and feel stoned (not in a good way).
I was recently offered the choice of swapping meds by my GP to mirtazapine but after being told it can take up to eight weeks for the citalopram to start doing its job and the side effects to lift I chose to stay on the cit hopeing it does, as the thought of going through it all again after swapping to a different med is not appealing.

I struggle to get out of bed, and when I do make it it’s only as far as the sofa. I hate leaving the house as I hate being in public while feeling stoned.
