iPhone fail – I just tried to ring someone with one and they didn't answer. Shocking, I'm taking it back for a full refund 🙂

Just an excuse for pink as far as I can tell. My big old 'ed couldn't get on with them personally. But at the end of the day we are all shapes and sizes so whatever suits rather than male/female.

Cheers guys, think I'll just buy them all. I'm quite intrigued by what a 'Robitussin high is' after googling. Is that you're secret Muddypuddle? 😀

    And here's some others:

    Amazon
    Adobe Photoshop
    Thomson Reuters
    Wikihood
    F Stream
    Red Laser
    Local sale finder

Can anyone recommend a good 'to do list'? There seems to be loads out there, which one should I go for?

Mmmm Manchester Victoria and charm. Yeah it's great at 9.00pm when your train is cancelled an you have to wait an hour for the next one. This is not the best as a lone female I can tell you. The waiting room is not exactly safe and secure.

But don't you just love the charm of dirty toilets with no seats, no toilet roll, no soap and no locks on doors. And how I laugh when I get wet from the leaky roof on platform 1. 🙁

As a welcome to Manchester for tourists it is an embarrassment.

My Springer refuses to launch herself off anything to into water. She will only go in if there is a gradual gradient and then paddle around. And will only swim if you through a rock or stick. She has v recently though started sticking her head under to retrieve rocks. So not your typical gundog.

Yeah huge blow with those players out. But they should at least have another world class striker, shouldn't they?

Most banks will start charging for ODs with the strategy of pushing you over to a 'packaged' current account, for a set fee per month which gives you a 'fee-free' OD and other benefits such as worldwide family travel Insurance, mobile phone insurance. These can be a good thing. IF you travel a lot and/or have a large family and obviously need an overdraft facility.

Re The Co-operative Bank. I'd recommend smile £500 fee-free overdraft. I've had no probs in 8+ years. Or the Co-operative Bank branded Current Account Plus £200 fee-free overdraft but you must deposit £800 a month. And yes before anyone asks I do work for them. But am recommending them from a personal POV as not only are they ethical but up until now have taken a responsible approach by only loaning out what they get in in deposits. I will owe them nothing in the NY when they start making redundancies following the merger with Britannia. 🙁

I've got a Dell Mini Inspiron, and have no complaints re functionality. But I would recommend using a mouse. The touchpad is a little frustrating at times, mainly due to the 'mini' size.

A couple of summers ago a notice on our staff intanet appeared saying that flip flops cannot be worn on dress down days. Just in case you stub your toe.I always suspect these decisions are made in the name of H&S in large organisations by departments with too many people, in the name of justifying their role. Whereas there appears no policy of members of staff carrying heavy boxes across buildings.

Scruff – something I recall from a drunken conversation about merino. (Yes that does make me sound a little odd, must be the Welsh blood) Is – these fancy dan merino sheep can only thrive in NZ. So breeding them over here isn't viable but I could be wrong. Any sheep breeders out there?

Re the ts I've had similar probs. Used to rave about them but recent purchases have left me a little disappointed on the quality. And the Sundown jacket I bought, I got a hole in the pocket in less than a week. But as it was a sale item couldn't be bothered complaining.

Another vote for a springer. We've a Welsh one and have often wondered if she's slightly more bonkers as her lineage is show dog. But maybe not. I'll admit she has her moments – compete ignorance of the whistle when chasing small animals, and yes on the lead she's not the best, which is prob out fault. Though she will walk to heal without. But I wouldn't swap. Springers are very loveable, loyal dogs with bags of personality, who will always bring a smile to the face.

Think he rung home last week. All upset.

Wish he had stayed at home. I think he's earned more than enough to provide for his family for the rest of their lives.

Mental hospital aye, shame it isn't still there judging by some of the locals I come across. Take the nutter on the canal bank telling everyone about his cheapo Woolies baseball cap . 😀

Back to the mag. I've only got about 2 articles in. Left it on the train on the way home. 🙁 Is it worth rebuying?

I tried a hj and I loved it. But the standover height was an issue for me. But I'm only 5ft 3. So went with an Orange in the end, and size wise is loads better than the womens spec I used to have.

Should try Bare Arts in Tod. They're a local brewery with their own bar. Open Thursday and Friday 4pm -9pm Saturday 12 noon – 9pm
Sunday 12noon – 8pm. You can't miss it bright pink place opposite Morrisons. Having sampled a great many of the beers I can definitley recommned. If you are on your bike there's a yard out the back with tables and chairs to sit outstide and enjoy the local inclimate weather 🙂

Me too Ideljon. But don't think I'd get away with wearing that now, having discovered beer since then!

Coz he went in having never bought a helmet and asked if they could recommend a size. Which they did and was way too small. He did try in and the assistant said it was perfectly fine. To me a helmet balancing on top of the skull is not fine. You could and probably will call my bf stupid for buying it but he went on the advice of a supposed expert in the shop. As he somehow thought they would know best.

And yes they did have Cinders – but not the size I wanted.

Too picky re tyres??? The number of debates on here about what size and type. Give me a break. Being a small rider narrower tyres suit my rider. So BD what are you saying? I should just buy what they have rather than what suits my needs. That’s customer service of the Henry Ford variety. It’s not as if they didn’t have any narrow tyres in that particular store and have made a decision not to stock them due to lack of demand. But I really get on with Cinders. And as far as I’m concerned citrus degreaser is pretty bog standard item to buy in a bike shop. It doesn’t have to be a special brand.

This is not particularly unique to the bike world. If I went to say Carphone Warehouse for an iphone. It they didn’t have one in stock I wouldn’t come out with a Samsung Toca. I still be pretty p****d as they didn’t have what they advertised.

Yeah but I think he needs more than role playing. Needs to look at his influencing skills first And his general attitude.

That women is already annoying me. In house training – role playing. That’ll solve all the probs.
