    I’d guess around the 2003/4/5 era. It would have been 24″ rear wheel and has the BETD 26″ rear wheel conversion plates hence the steep head angle.

    £350-£400 ish depending how quick he needs to sell.

    As always, would get more if he could be bothered to break it and sell as parts.

    Cheers for the comments on saddles guys. Anyone know a good dealer who can measure sit bones on the east midlands? Prefereably Notts/Derby

    Whilst on this topic, does anyone have any recomendation for saddles that casue the least damage to prostate and the nerves on your perenium.

    I’ve read that too many hours in the saddle can start causing “man” issues and having just bought a road bike (commuted for the first time today) am thinking preventative action in this area might be an idea rather than reacting in a decade if I have issues.

    This is the isuzu 1.7 diesel engine shared with the civic and astra etc…

    It’s a common problem and is well documented including how to fix…. I can’t remember the cause off the top of my head ….Do a bit of googling about civics with the same engine and I think you will come across the issue.

    Hope that is of some help.

    Edit try

    I’d be looking for a Glory at that money. Don’t discount the fr ones too, great for UK tracks. Best DH results I ever achieved were on a Glory fr and I had all sorts of exotic 5-6k DH rigs in the past.

    If you can get 2006/7 888 rc2x forks they are still some of the best forks ever made for DH despite the marketing bollox that is spouted these days.

    On account of saying you really wanted a mark 2 and this one might be a touch too small get rid of the frame.

    Actually thinking about it I think mine was the one for estates but worked on my hatch focus with spoiler. Got rid of my focus years ago so can’t remember properly.

    There’s a thule one that clips on in seconds and you can still open your boot with it attached.

    Not sure if it is still available. I’ve got one in my garage and it comes out every now and then when conditions are uber muddy.

    It’s all relative. I’ve just had really good customer service from Halfords.

    Faulty pressure washer, nearly out pf warranty period I had no receipt but shown that I purchesed a value of £99 from them using a bank statement. They swaped it for a Karcher of same value no quibbles.

    Bushes, it’s got brand new uprated ones in with no play whatsoever and no frame wear at all.

    Alex.. long time no see! Might just take you up on that at some point :-)

    Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. The question about free time etc.. yes I had more time etc years ago, but at the minute if anything my work life balance is at the best its been for the last 4 years.

    My wife had a bad crash 6 weeks ago and has only just come off crutches… not sure if that’s coincidence or maybe and instigating factor too.

    I’ll probably sit on the decision for a bit, but I’m also acutely aware of how quick kit depreciates.

    I’m sure that is a perfectly viable option Mike. But my chosen solution is to pay money for a 4×4 that makes them less invasive on my daily drive.

    Could you clarify exactly where and how I’ve made an excuse?

    As far as I can read I’ve said I want a big high suspensioned vehicle that swallows bikles and deals nicely with speed humps and pot holes due to my commute, it’s not an excuse it’s exactly why I want one. If it was nice tarmac open road then I’d be looking at an M3 or S4… but it’s not.

    I forgot it required me to make an acceptable excuse for wanting to own a particular type of vehicle, I’ll make sure I seek your permision next time to make sure my reasons are adequate before asking people’s opinions/advice on what I’d like to buy.

    Thanks Molgrips, I’m having Pizza tonight… would you like to decide my toppings on what everyone else has/wants?

    Thanks for the suggestions so far.. might look into ther BMW’s suggested.

    Hmmnnn, this was preliminary research. Having spent last night reading up on some of the issues/driveshaft etc I think I will steer clear.

    Any suggestions for an alternative?

    I want big high suspension due to copious amounts of speed bumps and crater sized pot holes near where I live/drive to work every day.

    Must swallow bikes too.

    I built this today. No idea what I’d spent as it was all parts from old builds

    If you are anywhere near Nottingham I’d take £450 collected for it

    I’ll pass on the stout. Yeh thanks, I know that’s the best way to make cash but I put it together to take the hastle out of shifting all the parts separately. Can’t be bothered with the time and effort of packing labelling and multiple trips to the post office etc if I sell bit separate. I realised I had enough parts to put it back together yesterday except for a rear brake mount and thought it would be a good way to clear the garage out.

    Might see if anyone wants to swap a similar value road bike for it.

    Where do these vouchers come from? Do you get individual emails or something?

    I’ve bought £1000’s from them over the last few years and have never had a code sent me :-(

    I’m aware you can use conditional formatting in other microsoft products but you can’t export it in a mail merge if you’ve got data in a spreadsheet that is coloured against target data etc

    apj… I’ve got this to work. Thank you so much for your time. Really very appreciated.

    Thanks to everyone else that has chipped in too. This has saved me hours for the future.

    chilled76

    I use mail merges all the time. This has a load of conditional formatting which can’t be exported. Targets in red amber green etc depending on target levels and what they’ve achieved.

    apj, that’s brilliant thanks.

    I’ve nearly got it working.

    Ive created a macro and edited you lines of code in.

    It’s actually the top four rows that need to be constant and present on everyone’s feedback… so I’ve edited two parts of your text and it is now as below.

    The problem is it seems to print a load of just the header pages as well as the pupil print outs and it’s hiding the 4th row too. Is this because the rows start at 2 so i should have used 5?

    In fact I’ll try

    ____________________________________________________________________

    Sub printeachrow()

    ‘ printeachrow Macro

    ‘ Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+y
    ”This is a comment

    ‘ Setting the header rows to print at the top
    ‘ This assumes you just want the top row
    ‘ If you want e.g. the top 2 change it to “$1:$2”
    With ActiveSheet.PageSetup
    .PrintTitleRows = “$1:$4”
    .FitToPagesWide = 1
    .FitToPagesTall = 1

    End With

    ‘ Now we go through each row of your selection, set the
    ‘ print areas as that row, and print it.
    For Each rw In Selection.Rows
    ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintArea = rw.Address

    ‘ But don’t print the header row!
    If rw.Row > 4 Then ActiveSheet.PrintOut

    Next rw

    End Sub

    I thought most reponses to this thread would be people who ride a lot, as people like myself won’t respond.

    I do generally one ride at the weekend (about 20 miles).
    Occasionally do an evening ride if I get home early enough (only an hour blast).

    Sometimes if I’m lucky I’ll get two rides in at the weekend but that is rare.

    Tend to get 3-4 rides in every time there is a school holiday, and ride a lot in the 6 week summer holidays.

    Yes I’m a teacher, no I’m not striking today… but there’s no kids in to teach and I’ve spent the morning marking and looking at spreadsheets…. I’m now very bored.

    chilled76

    Oh and the selection idea means that I can choose to be using as little or as many of the target areas I want and utilise it on different spreadsheets that may span different widths etc.

    chilled76

    I want it to just hide the row.

    I am very grateful for both your reponses, so thank you and please be patient if I seem thick, I’m not I’m just new to macro’s and programming.

    Backround… I’m head of maths in a school (no I’m not striking, but I’ve got no kids in today to teach as lots of people are).

    I have spreadsheets which have details on pupils weak areas. Topics and revision references across the top.

    Pupils names down the left with lots of individualised data as youp read across for each pupil.

    Normally when I provide this info to my pupils I select everything across the top and just the first pupil. I then click Ctrl p and send this to the printer (set the printer up to print selection and scale to page).

    I then hide the first pupil and repeat the select and print for the next pupil, then hiding them and printing the next pupil and so on. Once I’ve set the printer after the first one it is set until I close the document so I only have to do this once.

    About half an hour later, all of our year 11’s have individualised target areas with referenced revision material… but the printing is a right ball ache.

    If I had a macro I could literally press ctrlp return ctrl and whatever key the macro is set up to over and over until they are all done. Would take 90 seconds to print all of them.

    Any help greatly appreciated as I have today to get this sorted.

    Sorry, that is french to me. But thank you very much for responding.

    Let me try re-explaining as well as I don’t think my op was that clear.

    Basically diregard the print…

    What the macro needs to do is hide the bottom row of what I have selected but re-select all the cells originally selected and the new bottom row that is now sitting in place of the one that got hidden.

    Is that still something I can’t do with a record macro and need to programme?
