I will be riding my santa cruz v10 carbon as its the only xc bike I have.
not using my dh bike on a all dayer.
As its my 1st time how many of the downhills will be equivilant of a trail centre black run as i will probably have to walk a few of these without the full facer and pads for protection ?
thanks Don
1 hour on my full suss 26er( i have to get off and walk the gnarly bits)
30 mins on my drop bar ss 29er ( but i have to get off and walk the climbs and any sharp bends)
now if i had a fatbike i reckon i could ride it all in under 45 mins but i wouldnt enjoy it cause theyre just the latest fad in biking and are crap so ive heard
I’M 4 foot 7 and ride a medium swift, top tube is a little close to my jewels but wouldnt go back to a kids bike for love or money.
but i do wish they would make a 29er that can steer through singletrack as i when i try and turn the bars i just keep going in a straight line
probably best to take him to cody or afan on Sat/sunday morning as this is when they are at there busiest and he will get used to bikes a lot quicker.
i wouldnt bother with a lead and as long as he doesnt drop his dog eggs on the racing line i wouldnt worry too much about collecting them up
for a first attempt i would hit them about 30mph clearing the 1st five steps , then a tail spin with triple pike round the right hander finishing off with a rolling endo to finish.
building up to more extravagant decents thereafter
Ardbeg ‘Lord of the Isles’ you get a dram for free on the distillery tour, and it is very nice indeed
in a pub on islay they had some 40 year old bruicladdich that was about £75 a shot i think
Sofaking IS a riding God though and the sooner people realise and get out of his way the better
well i was speaking to someone that knows someone that knows the Ayatollahofniche and apparantley him and his mincey friends cant ride for toffee.
they mince about drinking and chatting on the trails laughing at other trail folk then try to ride their ego chariots like gods when they are just mere mortals
got some on an ss , not sure how old they are but i have had no problems in a year of muddy riding since i took ownership of them. and they look way nicer than king ones
