Yes but Our Jess is lovely.

So is Tom, tiny pants and all. :-)

Letting Russian athletes compete might force a few ‘clean’ athletes to question whether they should participate or not.

They missed a trick, not using a German car.

The tabloids thinking Matt LePlanc was driving offends me more.

Hmm, makes you wonder where he got the Giant TCR from? The one in his completed items that he ended early. :?

Most freehubs are usually removed by inserting a large allen wrench into the NDS of the hub to loosen the allen bolt which holds the freehub in place.

I think Shimano hubs require a 12mm allen wrench but I’m sure Formula freehubs require a wrench which is a couple of mm larger.

I’m not concerned about negative eBay feedback,

Don’t worry about negative feedback. Sellers are unable to leave buyers bad feedback, it’s been like this for years now.

That’s probably why the place is the natural habitat of the tyre-kicker.

    You could always try Gumtree.

Plenty of tyre-kickers on there as well though. :?

Maverick went well at PI test.

I’m hoping to see HRC’s wunderkind getting hoofed in the slats at some point this season. I really don’t mind who carries out the deed.

Chris Evans now has several other people he can blame the potential failure of this show on. It certainly won’t be his fault, will it? :D

I’m amazed the BBC didn’t consider getting Jay Kay on board. What the show really needs is another mega-wealthy individual who can ****t around in exotic vehicles at the license fee payers expense.

My dog had an issue with his back end last year and he was just lying on his cushion and couldn’t get up. We thought he was finished also but it turns out that he had injured his back somehow so there is still hope for your pal.

Mine had an injury similar to a slipped disc and it took a lot of cage rest, steroids etc. to get him back to a reasonable level of fitness/mobility.

Hopefully yours will pull around when he builds his strength back up.

Mmm I’m pretty sure vans don’t just get towed off people’s drives just to steal a bike

All they have to do is, access the van, break the steering lock and push it down the street where they can work on getting your lock off without you hearing.

They’re pretty industrious folk when there’s a grand or two’s worth of bike/etc. there for the taking.

Makes no odds as the bike is safely indoors now but anything that can be wheeled away from your door with little effort isn’t the best of places to keep a treasured possession. :(

My bike is/was chained down in the van. It’s a damn sight more secure than a garden shed…

I’m pretty sure a would-be thief couldn’t tow your shed away to a quiet place where he could work on removing your locks…

Isn’t it the same product you’d buy elsewhere anyway? it’s just cheaper because of all the horror stories i.e. staff on minimum wage queuing to be searched in their own time after 8 hour shifts despite being docked 15 minutes wages for every 1 minute they are late in the morning etc etc etc

That is a factor but most of the labels stocked (apart from Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma and a few others) are owned by Mike Ashley and are produced in the far east so I imagine the margins on them are pretty high too.

Boxing on free to view telly on a Saturday night? With Match of the Day after?

It’s my 1970s childhood all over again!

Amateur boxing should be free to watch IMO.

About five or six years ago, I got sent a brand new set of compact Rotor Q Rings.

    I just sold them on.

You could have forwarded the proceeds of that sale to a starving refugee. #selfish

However, how’s about Dani Pedrosa for a shot at a championship? I wont count him out!

I too would love to see that as Dani has had so much bad luck in his career.

I just can’t see it happening with the way HRC are dancing to the tune of the Marquez clan. Dani is clearly a #2 rider now who is keeping the seat warm for the next big thing arriving.

I hope it’s not Maverick as I think the Marquez family would do everything in their power to keep him down. Hopefully he can get a set at Yamaha when the GOAT retires.

Stoner accepting a testing role at Ducati has a lot to do with the Marquez/HRC love-in too. He’s inferred that he wasn’t allowed to ride Dani’s bike when he had his op in case he embarrassed HRC’s wunderkind.

That’s nasty. A blind man on a galloping horse would have spotted that on opening the box. Why would you even bother building it up after seeing that?

If I’d sent out an undamaged bike and some clown took it out and damaged it, there’s no way I’d want the bike back either.

As others have said though, the OP’s lack of photos of the affected area does him no favours at all.

Everyone takes a load of photos showing both sides of the bike don’t they? If I have something to sell, I take way too many photos and then try to pick out the best ones for my listing.

Who made paypal judge Jury and Excecutioner in these things where they offer a refund without seeing anything?

On eBay, Paypal offer a money back guarantee. Any issue the buyer has, paypal always side with them as they have to honour this guarantee. I think this is, pretty much, their policy with non-ebay transactions too…

within 1 hour of taking delivery – refund .9 days – they can go swivel .

I agree but Paypal almost always side with the buyer so the OP has grounds to be concerned.

When you say bike box, do you mean the huge ones that Wiggle use or the smaller ones that you have to remove the front wheel, bars and post to fit a bike in?

I only ask as there’s a chance that the front wheel might have moved in transit and the axle could have dinged the downtube. Long shot I know but you could claim off the courier if it was damaged in transit.

The nine days thing sets alarms ringing though and has probably ruined your chances of claiming off the courier.

The blockage will most likely be in the nearest manhole which might be shared with a lot of other residents. (depending on your location obviously) If the issue is not on your property, the water board usually pay for the team to unblock it. (well they do where I live anyway)

We’ve had this a few times due to neighbours flushing unspeakable items down there.

A little off topic but Gazza is trying to blame his latest crazy episode on the fallout from cracking a racist joke about a bouncer at one of his speaking events.

He does have form for this sort of thing though. Pint of Guinness anyone?
