Dip it in PVA/runny glue then sprinkle some glitter, hundreds and thousands, sesame seeds or similar, on it.

Then you can say it’s artisan. :D

If a bin falls in the woods and hits Renton’s car, does it generate 5 pages?

    Yes, clearly. How prophetic.

OP, out of interest. What did you see in 1997?

    It was Titanic, wasn’t it?

Kimi must be gutted. First, he has to lend Seb his car for the race, then the ungrateful little twerp breaks it on the cool-down lap.

Fearne’s ok..bit of a laddette and up for a laugh ..but I much prefer her big mate Holly Willoughbooby

Getting smaller by the day, sadly.

She must want to look like Davina.

Noel’s CBBC voiceover grated a bit. The show struggles without Mary.

The adverts are the biggest issue for me. Having two official show sponsors with two lots of idents also highly annoying. Cross-promotion of other terrible C4 programmes is irritating.

Gave it a go but the adverts ruined the flow of the show for me and I’d lost interest by the time the final segment came on.

Part of me hopes it falls flat on its face, TBH. The whole poaching of successful shows from other channels by so-called public service broadcasters leaves a bitter taste AFAIC.

Clearly you don’t get, it supposed to be a bank call centre which then melts away as the scam is revealed showing that you may thought you were dealing with something concrete and secure when you’re not, or at least that’s what read it as.

Ah, I can see the logic in that. :-) Still annoying, though.

No quaalude break then? Sad face…

How many miles has the chain done? A badly stretched chain wouldn’t do your new mech’s jockey wheels any good.

Can I purposely not push the pistons back to reduce the space in the calipers and reduce the dead travel at the lever ?

If you’re replacing worn pads with new, I’d assume they are going to rub the rotor, (if you can get them in at all) due to the current position of the pistons and the thickness of the new pads. :?

Brailsford said it was a (slow) puncture, didn’t he?

Oh no, this will give Chris Boardman an excuse to push his tubless tyre agenda again. :-) Makes me wonder if they’re a feature on the more expensive Boardman bikes?

Blimey what happened there….a second set donut???

After losing the first set, Venus seemed to throw in the towel. Maybe this lawsuit business has distracted her?

Remnant of seat tube for front derailleur.

Surely an e-type BB could have been incorporated into such a design, removing the need for a seat tube stump?

Scotroutes theory seems on the money to me. It is in Sunderland after all.

What sort of money does such an item usually fetch? (in the completed listings) It doesn’t seem like too bad of a return to me…

I like Burners BTW. Plenty of folk look down on the humble Burner but most kids I knew had one BITD. Those R gusseted Pro Burners are lovely…

On the plus…. side Boulting and Miller seem to have got better ? … though I’ve only seen the highlights

Can’t complain about Millar and Boulting but those segments where Matt Smith fires lots of inane questions at a professional rider are rather tedious.

    what’s with the slow-mo

I assume this is the correct speed for crawling around Hampstead Heath looking for fellow watch enthusiasts

Consensus was that it was a bike running Claris shifters. Expensive watch, shit shifters.

, these roasters are talking about watches and Vauxhall ads!

The cringeworthy watch ad belongs to the official sponsor of ITVs Tour coverage so you see it, twice, every time there is an ad break.

Quite annoyed with it already, dread to think how I’ll feel at the end of the month.

And as I said, they said “no”, so not sure where favouritism comes into it?

The team made the correct call as Valteri just managed to pass Stroll at the last possible moment.

Asking your team mate to mess with your nearest championship rival is within the rules but doesn’t seem terribly Senna-esque to me.

I’m not sure that this is the first time Lewis has pulled rank this season but Bottas is on thin ice, contractually, so he won’t make too much of a fuss when he gets the smelly end of the stick.

There’s a long way to go, this season, so we’ll just have to see how things play out regarding team orders and drivers with #1 status.

The full transcript is due on F1 fanatic later this week but this little snippet is on there…

Hamilton: “Guys if Valtteri can’t catch the man ahead, tell him to slow down a bit to cause a bad wake.”

Has anyone mentioned Lulu demanding, over the radio, that Valteri should slow down to create turbulence for Vettel?

No clear #1 driver at Mercedes? Yeah, right.

This wouldn’t be so bad but Lewis has made thinly-veiled digs at Ferrari for favouring Vettel over Kimi. :?

^^^^ It started to rain, at about 2 thirds race distance, so he and several others took a punt and changed to their second bike with a full wet setup.

It didn’t rain enough for their gamble to pay off.

It has been said that Lorenzo had the M1 set up like a big 250. Spies and Rossi, on his return from his Ducati own nightmare, both had trouble riding the Lorenzo-era bike

I think Kenny Roberts said it best…

That 250 style can get you on the pole, but when the tires are worn, you are ******

    http://www.cycleworld.com/2014/01/10/dirt-track-training-with-kenny-roberts-and-influence-on-top-level-grand-prix-racing#page-2

Lorenzo is a joy to behold on the right bike with the right tyres but he doesn’t enjoy riding a bike which moves around too much.

The incident isn’t that much different to the Marquez v Rossi incident at Sepang, IMO, and we all how that panned out.

I don’t understand why Coulthard was trying to pretend it might have been accidental, though?

Maybe Ducati should give Petrucci Jorge’s bike and give the Pramac ride to an up and coming rider?

They would save themselves a lot of money if they jettisoned their underperforming acquisition at the end of the season but they would lose face by doing this.

Jorge backed himself into a corner when he got involved with the Marquez v Rossi feud and the subsequent court case. Rossi goading Jorge into going to Ducati was quite the masterstroke IMO.

The Suzuki is a bike that might suit Jorges riding style – the RCV definitely wouldn’t and the Ducati couldnt be more different to the M1, hence his current failure to adapt.

Good to see Rossi bag a win today but I do feel bad for Danilo. :?
