I enjoy a lot of modern art and the more I find out about it the more I like it. Its often better if you have to engage your brain than just see a picture and say oh yes thats pretty/cool whatever.
Also seeing real art in a gallery is so much more powerful than any reproductions. This is partly because it is exhibited in a gallery ergo it is art whatever it is. Modern art is thought provoking, hence this thread!

Forget the patches, just keep going. Concentrate on the benefits (new legs and lungs for climbing hills etc). I am into my 3rd month and going strong.
    Well done

Ive been warned off Titanium by a jeweller who reckons your fingers can change and Ti is too hard to be changed. But they probably just wanted to sell me a more expensive ring.

Ive always suffered with cold feet in the past, tried various sock shoe combos always with SPDs to no avail.
This weekend I experimented with flat pedals and hiking boots – lovely and warm feet after 4 hours out in thick snow. Result

I have full sus and rigid and ride/like them both
Maybe I need a hardtail? Then I'd like that too but would I still ride the rigid? Maybe not. Would I still bother with the susser?
Would the hardtail just be a compromise between the two?
    I dont know.

I do unnecessary (and rubbish) trackstanding sometimes when waiting, just to avoid putting a foot down and hence stop riding

Thanks for the opinions. I cant afford 2 lights and have used helmet mount up to now. I do find that even fine rain appears to be a blizzard which is really distracting. Im worried that bar mount might be less practical in case of mechanicals as I sometimes end up riding on my tod.

I use onza trials bars on my mountainbike 720mm wide with upswept ends.
To me this feels ace as it puts my elbows up. I can easily move in to a narrower position for just riding along.

I enjoyed it too, hot weather and tough climbing made it a good challenge.
I also had a time of 3.10 so must’ve been close to you Doog.
Saw one bad looking crash at the bottom of the Fiddle lane descent but the rider was OK at the end.
Someone said the fastest time was 1.30 something, which kind of puts things into perspective!
Pennine X is the next challenge event round our way.

Trail modification is not always to everyone’s liking so think before you dig. My favorite trails have been cut by feet, hooves and tyres, not made out of wooden palletes etc.
