Some of us like drinking a lot, a lot.
The more we drink, the more we like it.
When last orders looms we have to drink faster.
I don’t know anyone daft enough to carry on drinking when they are sick.
    Anyone fancy a pint?

An enjoable trip around Ogden Moor with Mrs Cheese@4p then dropped down Mixenden to watch the City Cross in Halifax. Nice day out

Copley has more good local riding out the door and is nicer, though be warned it stinks in summer close to the sewage works. This may be reflected in property prices. The drawbacks of Ovenden have already been noted.

Look out for events in your local area – they are really friendy and not at all cliquey.

Don’t be selfish. Don’t spend cash on youself if you can’t afford to spend the same amount on your lady.

I would go to Evans if I were you. They have a good selection of bikes at all prices and freindly staff who will advise you. Spend as much or as little as you wish, nothing wrong with spending 2k on a first bike.
I am sure you will enjoy your bike whatever you get. Happy cycling.

    Stag do in Manchester.
Finally got back to bed, drunk, in the Brittania Hotel I think it was. On Deansgate.
Woke up in need of a pee. Stumbled out of room into corridor naked.
Couldn’t get back into room. Saw a door for fire exit. Went through, desperate to pee. No way back through fire door. The only way was down stairs, out onto the back of the hotel, blessed relief for the bladder.
Now I had to return to the hotel main entrance on Deansgate and go to reception to be let back into the room. I am quite a shy kind of guy too.

    Capdown for contemporary angry ska
Also seek out Owter Zeds – Hebden Bridge’s finest for a more fun but very musical sound

The old Jamaican stuff takes some beating though

Schools closed = far less cars on the dodgy roads, making it easier for us to get to and from work, so I’m happy with it.

I’m using lambswool insoles, cheap and effective. When all else fails I go over to flat pedals and cosy boots.

My old size L pair fitted nicely, although they did pop open until the wife sewed me a clip on them.
New pair of size L seems much smaller. Annoying as I bought on the strength of the size without trying on. Doh!

Another good excesise is to do gradual lowers from the upper lock off down to full hang. Do very slowly and pause every so often. This will take you through the full muscle extension.
