This included people who have privacy set on their profile so you cant see the details. The stupid thing is it shows the PRs and segment names so its not too difficult to search the segments and piece together the ride in question and whole ride and hence the start and finish. Not sure about the enhanced but I reckon it will be flawed if they allow the above already

Paddles to manual wasnt a problem. Going from auto clutch to manual again took a few trips. The temptation was to try and change without the clutch. Then again its the same feeling I have for a split second when sticking it in reverse in different cars half expecting it to be in first.

i think they just create a new account and post up their same rides. We have a few riders that hoover up KOM for fun.. some are tdf speeds on the flats.. mightily impressive to some but generally about 10 mph faster than the nearest rider. I have the same feeling that i have about drug cheats

drink more fluids so you feel fuller.. also try and have smaller portions of your main meals with the idea you may be eating some extra bits later. Reducing the portion size takes a bit of time to find the balance.

I’ve just remembered another stipulation that you cant be a member or affiliated to another club 🙂 and that applies to riding a TT course open to non members too ie public. After reading about other clubs it seems some do offer a lot more to their members in both practical and material terms than my local one.

I think there is value to being in a club as its as much about the members as it is about the name. I have noticed its the name that lends itself the the elitism and delusions of grandeur rather than benefiting the cycling community.

I’m off to start a cycling group 🙂 where you dont have to be a number/ category or specify your ethnicity when joining. Just ride your BSO and I wont tell you how slow you must go .

Its interesting how the fees vary between clubs with even the lowest fee still accumulating a balance. I wouldn’t mind paying a fee to a club I wanted to join. The last one I went to seemed to be run by people who were more concerned with pigeon holing members into categories they didn’t have ( it wasnt very big club either). Too many rules and regulations and treated like a number. It was a roadie club rather than a mtb one. I know a chap who ended up creating his own group and it runs very well with a healthy number of participants on each ride.

Its another way of to get people to spend more time spending. ebay breakers seem to have most parts ready to ship. I’ve used them and local scrapyard. You may need to remove the item yourself but this at least gives you and idea how to fit it once you get it home

It depends on the price , if it is priced low then there is generally scope for people to get in first. If it is priced fairly I imagine the option is to wait in case something else will come along. There is another option where people just want to watch for fun which happens a lot nowadays.

the price is always going to be a lot less that you would be willing to accept. I still have my sworks 2001 and still makes me smile when I get it out for a ride. Have a look at similar models sold on ebay, gumtree, pinkbike etc. Good luck with whatever you decide.
