book online though as it tends to be sold out.
The imax at bradford does a family ticket for 4 for £24. That actually comes in cheaper than cineworld.

Standing up and CLAPPING!!!! You ain't in kansas anymore. Keep those yank habits over the pond please. In this country a slight nod of approval will do.

Saw it this morning at IMAX Bradford. This is a must see 3D movie. The experience was so good my wife actually had motion sickness at the end (though she recovered enough for curry at the Kashmir).

The 3D is totally immersive, it feels like you are there on set. In fact its so realistic that you occaisionally take it for granted and then have to pinch yourself that you are watching a movie.

To anyone who can get there I reccomend IMAX, it cost us £24 for a family of four, thats actually cheaper than cineworld on a poxy small screen.

Casting of Sigourney was inspired choice!

Ronin was amazing because it was really shot in central Paris, a lot of the cars in it are "civilians".
I also have a soft spot for the starting sequence car chase in Quantum of Solice. Play that in Blue Ray on a decent sound system and it blows you away. The subtle almost silent camera pan across lake Garda, camera reaches the tunnnel….then VROOOOOM….Aston martin V12 and gun fire. Blew me away. [shame the rest of the film was crap]

I also thought of doing some of that black retroreflective 3m tape and getting it screen printed with a black matt Yorkshire Tea logo so that the logo only shows up at night. Would people stick those on their bikes etc if I organised it?

TooTall, this isn't work wear, just something nice to give to colleagues to help keep them a bit safer on the roads and paths while they walk/cycle to our marvelous cake and beverage emporium. Therefore it needs to be of reasonable quality, but not Rapha!

I am hoping to be able to do these free for staff, or at least heavily company funded.

Thanks for the input so far.

Exactly as Jase says. Up to seller to resolve. Please bear in mind that the Post Office leave it quite a while before entertaining any claims, so you may need to be patient with the seller.

Actually the one "counter" to high postage charges is the "risk" that someone 5 miles away might win your item and say "cool, when can I collect and pay cash". This sort of limits how much ridiculous postage can be charged.

If the item was sent out in less than a week and got to you in the condition you describe then leave +ve feedback. Its a stem for gods sake, not an Ibis Titanium frame.
Sounds like you have already made your mind up to leave negative.

Ebay charges are extortionate, people try to save small amounts on them. For low value items occaisonal sellers probably don't know the best way of sending until they get to the post office and ask.

    Jeez get over yourselves!

Console yourself in the knowledge that at least with it being local government you won't have held up any important work.

Dawkins is an evangelical atheist. I dislike evangelists of any type.

Happy to let folk believe what they like so long as those beliefs don't lead to them killing infidels or non-believers (of whatever faith).
Atheism isn't a belief system as such, I think its just where a lot of educated folk end up when they weigh up what they know (think they know?) and the probablility of the whole heaven and hell thing.

slw, I agree (though my xbox is not chipped, my wii however….). But given that the PS3 is better and has largely lost the price disadvantage against the Xbox do you not think microsoft have shot themselves in the foot by banning all these users? I know if it were me it would tip me over to the other camp.

we have both (and a Wii), the PS3 is the console of choice for all the reasons above.

My next gen console will be a PS4. Shan't bother with the xbox 720 or whatever they call it.

embers merino is my fave. Had their stuff for over a year and it is well made and does not shrink or pill in the wash. Bought some cheap smartwool stuff in Cotswold sale, the embers stuff is nicer.

The fisual ones on Amazon are great. Not the absolute cheapest, but are of good quality. I use their HDMI and also their optical cables on the PS3, DVD and Sky HD box.

We have both Xbox360 and PS3. I bought the PS3 version. Prefer the controler, free online play, doesn't have more cooling fans than drax powerstation (ok my xbox is 3 years old).
