Only one pair of large left…I bought two pairs…sorry!

Edit..all large gone. Have a look at the purchase history for this listing…its a 30 minute frenzy!

lardlover yes it is possible…in fact the list of options is huge.
You need to look under settings and then bike settings.
You can configure multiple screens and specify how many data fields and what those data fields are for each screen.

Wall-E is a film that really polarises people.
A lot of people dont get it, but for me and MrsHB its one of the most beautiful films ever. The animation and little touchs are amazing, for a film with so little dialogue the emotions it conveys particularly with wall e and eva are fab.

Ah…biff…got it…along the same lines as joey. Insults we grew up with but only trained comedians can use now.

On a different not…as a fellow PSA 800 buyer…do these come with the latest maps? Mine seem to be pre 2009 maps for Leeds (or is that just OS update cycles?).

    Cara the Labrador.
She’s gone from 35kg to 25.9kg since we got her (via here!) in October 2010. Lovely dog, if a bit giddy.

Oh she also changed name from Holly (my daughters best mate is Holly…after 2 weeks of Holly jokes then we changed!).

The rain should hit york at 1400.
Just eased off in south Leeds….glad I went out for a run first thing before it started.

Night in with the family. Watched a selection of films and had some nice food and a bottle of Pink Lanson (wifes choice!).
Up relatively early…trying to decide what to do…long walk me thinks.

    @onehundredthidiot:
    It is Brownian motion:
    http://www.edinformatics.com/math_science/suspensions_colloids.htm

I spent 3 years being taught colloid chemistry at Leeds as part of my degree, the prof that taught it to me taught the Irish how to make Baileys on an industrial scale.

To understand how this is made you need to understand how an emulsion is formed.
Basically it involved firing the fat/water mix at a metal plate at high velocity. If you smash it up enough then Brownian motion (remember that from physics) makes it hard for the fat drops to find each other and rise to the surface.
The emulsifier (not a free radical as posted earlier) is a special molecule that has one end polar and one end none polar. In simple terms this means that one end of the molecule likes water and the other end likes oil. These emulsifiers coat the outside of the fat droplets and avoid it having to touch the water directly.

    Simple really.

Oops…should have read the thread more carefully, and typed more carefully too!
    No Kona pics though….nice Explosif?

Surprised…two pages and no mention of Kona.
Their frames from the early 90’s set te style for frames to this day…ok front suspension has changed them too, but the idea of a small trialngle frame with sloping toptube and tight rear triangle was the bike I alway wanted.

martinxyz: the garmin needs to be plugged into usb on pc to see the maps….it uses them straight off the card with basecamp.
Garmin connect is good for plotting road routes as it uses google maps and you can drag the route aroud easier to use a particular route.

Good family viewing. Not the best of the specials but still had us laughing. The filming of top gear is wonderful, so even if the three buffoons offend then the cinematography is some of the best out there.

The visitor centre is at lowest altitude, dixons hollow is at the summit.

    CHB
    Full Member

yes….follow the road in from the admissions kiosk.
About a mile in (downhill) you get to the bottom carpark and main visitor cente…maps can be had from there.
If you follwo the road past the visitor centre…theres onlt one! and keep going then dixons hollow and the other carpark is at the summit.

    6-7 miles is tricky.
red route is great but is 22miles.
best option would be park near dixons hollow, cycle 2nd half of red route, then take a forest track uphill back to dixons hollow to collect the car.

Well he sort of says that in his original post. Personally I would happily pay the licence fee for r4 alone…Its at bargain compared with sky.

freesat is satelite….got sky? Dont want to give money to the evil murdochs?
well cancel you sky subscription, use your sky dish and all the cables and just swap the box to a freesat on….voila free satelite tv (though only same channels as freeview).

Three ways to get tv pic to your set: ariel, cable tv or satelite.
Since you have cable you need to go to Freeview via ariel if taking cable out.

If you want HD channels these are available on freeview.

There are two types of freeview tuner, HD and regular.

You either need to buy a set with freeview HD tuner, or buy a cheeper telly and buy a separate freeviewd HD box (either with or without recorder built in).

As for on demand iplayer etc….again you can either get this built into tv (we have a 32 inch samsung thats rather nice and has HD and internet) or yo u can get dvd players and settop boxes from sony, samsung and others that have a mix of features.

As for tv licence, just ignore the letters, don’t think they are very persistent …..are they 😈

I have been through airports several times with leatherman mini on my keyring (in carry on bag). Keep forgetting to leave it at home, one day it will be binned by an overzealous scanner person.

Armageddon is a great film. Very very cheesy (with extra cheese), but its a set piece of how to do a blockbuster disaster film.
Mind you, I also like Independance Day.

Wow, this is the first STW thread EVER sticking up for Halfords.
For me the local halfords (Killingbeck) are a good bunch, soing a solid job. Hope if the evil venture capitalists read this they are convinced that having a good “returns” policy pays back in loyalty, even if not from the OP, most on here would.

Cats are selfish creatures and less trainable than a dog.
If it like that then it will never be a tame cuddly house kitty.
We have a dog and a cat and cats train you, not the other way round.
