West Yorkshire is bringing METRO back under control…hopefully that will help transport costs in a large part of Yorkshire.

Given where this thread is heading, I dread to thing where the phrase “like flies round $hit ” comes from?

We have an older version of this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005FYBGQI/ref=asc_df_B005FYBGQI9109201?smid=A3003UW1JJRG8T&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B005FYBGQI

really good batterylife and good quality fit and finish.

Google ultrabooks too if your budget is a bit higher as these are sleek and have long batterylife.
If you wnat massive batterylife and lightweight then perhaps an IPad is not a bad suggestion, its my main internet device these days, though its not great for editing spreadsheets.

The cost of public transport in the UK is a national disgrace. Should be not for profit and subsidised. Costs me three times as much to catch train to sheffield with family as it does to drive.
As for buses into Leeds….well I think the bus fare is the reason that everyone on the bus can only afford crap tracksuits and/or leggings.

Hi, its not bad and is a new model.
You pay a premium here for it being skinny and lightweight. Is skinny and sleek important to you in a laptop?
What do you use it for?
Do you require powerful processor OR long battery life?

There are some great laptops for £400-500.

Also windows 8 comes out in just over a couple of months time…there will be windows 7 bargains to be had!

Tell us what you want to do with your laptop and I am sure the collective will give yo u a smorgebord of options (and then tell you to buy an iPad).

Brazil is a messed up country that is ridiculously unequal and has scant regard for the environment. Suggest they have lots to say sorry for, though jogging and throwing things would not be top of my list.

Happy Yorkshire day to all, even lancastrians. Celibrating with czech beer doesnt seem right however, but after a full day on the allotment I dont have the energy to forrage further for proper ale.

A day or so is not unreasonable, depends on value of item. if less than £50 then folk might have more pressing stuff to do such as enjoy the weekend.
For high value stuff I normally contact after a day.
People have more important stuff in their lives than ebay.

Pete, what you say about cylinder explosions moving crud is correct for most engines. However the fsi engines have “dry” intake meaning that fuel is added post compression, rather than on the induction cycle of the cylinder.
This means the intake valves never get washed with fuel. So add cheap 95 ron fuel that these are not designed for, and lots of short trips and you get problems.
Mitsubishi GDI engines have a similar problem….they need good fuel and long trips regularly to keep em sweet.

Even for an onone/PX fan like me, the daily emails are a pain.
Once a week is tolerable. Once a fortnight is nice. Once a day is a pain in the backside.
I appreciate its probably someones fulltime job, but a nice email every week is better than been nattered several times a week to buy an innertube and a roadie saddle.

Would appreciate the email if its a genuine limited offer and you want to give subscribers the heads up on the website, but most of the emails are run of the mill on-one bargains, not one of Daves…must clear stock NOW emails.

Just got an allotment in Rothwell this week. 250 sq.m. The soil is ace you can tell that its had a hundred years of hoss manure in it. Only had it 5 days, but already cleared most of the minor weeds and got some spuds and raspberries in. The old guy that had ot before us (for 40 years) still has the half plot next door. He is keen to help us with supplies and advice.
