Once your on the course can you not move up to the MEng if your doing well enough? Im sure thats how it was when i was at plymouth!
Gives you a little more flexibility on grades, though probably doesnt guarantee you a place on the MEng

I Use the bikehut (or similar) wheel racks. Holds the bike well, stops them wobbling too much £10ish a time.

Cheers Mr D, plugging in now!
Good to see you last nite, we rode lightless until 9.20. The weather came in rather nasty and obviously it got a little dark!
    Excellent pootle tho!

why not use a hollow threaded rod, 2 washers with a larger internal Diameter than the rods ext. dia. then nip it up with some bolts (M6)
Washers will spread the load onto the bearings but you wont have to worry about this threaded bar mallarky!
Will need to be a tough bar tho…. dont want that going ping

What about a Garmin forerunner 305, with HRM and 2 bike mounts.
    Less than £100 SH.

My brothers at Uni there, not trying to put you off, but he got attacked by 3 men and a golf club. Luckily he’s a big chap and plays rugby.
Still ended up in hospital with 3 9 iron sized cuts to his head!

Nope shes still bare…. thinking of how to make it all nice and tidy!
Yeah… one option is to pop Stroker Grams on the Whyte, and move the carbons to the SS.
    Arrrgghh, the dilemas!!

I agree the P7 is a good bit of kit, I work in lighting after all, and have the brightest 10 Watt Led on the market for domestic use.
However the poster seems to be after a bike shop bought box set, the P7 is a mash of torch and battery pack.
Hardly what i’d like to recieve as a present!

    Hehe…. I was reading that thinking…….? I WAS THERE!

My Forerunner appears to be dying, battery is failing slowly.
And i’ve found the 705 for a bargin price!

Rather than talk crap and take over this guys post, would it not make sense to answer his question??? Did any of you actually read it, or did you just fancy another bit of banter along a my lights better than yours route???

As a present, so not home brew. Budget up to about £150.

I have the larger hope sam, and its a damn good bit of kit. Mate has the vision 2 and that seems spot on too.
Another one im impressed by is LIM Stella… makes a wikid head torch on its own, gives up to 180lumens @ 3.5 hours i think!

    You’ve got 2 different levers there…
The linear lever a the bottom is proper old, Part of the original Sport system when they only did on brake!
Looks to be open tho, not closed.

The Top lever which pulls back on to the bar is a Pro 2, open system again.
Open had no adjustment (apart from lever position) and the Closed had a dial in order to adjust the contact point as well… however they didnt like heat!

Calipers look like Mini’s, too small to be original O2’s,C2’s.

Bit of a mash up of parts tho!
The top lever used to run the Enduro 4’s and M4’s before they went over to the Mini lever.

I can, and for a long time did just ride on water for hours. But with age (only 24 mind) It certainly helps to have something mixed with it.
Rode 21 miles SS off road today on a Double cheeseburger and a bannana power bar. Ate some cereal before that too.
