Did the singletrack at Triscombe on the way home sharki, decided as it was sooo dry it needed a bash. I think i now know the steep but you mean, ridden up it loads so went down it today, then down the carwash then climbed out as if going back to great bear (which i rode both ways for a change today!)

Did the singletrack to make sure i went over 30miles not 29.something…
Was 3.5hr riding time, 3hr 57 actually on the hills.

Found it on Google maps in the end, took a little hunting!

You can buy special tick tweezers from the chemist, or just smother them in butter or vaseline (it blocks their spiracles) then twist off. Sterilse the area afterwards, as well. If you leave them until you get to a doc, you’re increasing your chances of catching something.

DONT Use Vaseline etc…. it causes them to be disturbed and can make them put nasties in you rather than suck blood. Gives you a higher chance of Lymes disease etc then!

Current (and last) Saab 93 will take 2 bikes with front wheels off (leaving seat in riding position)
It will also take my SS ready to ride! (19in frame with a foot of seat post showing!)

As for the base layer stuff… surely you wear ur base under your bibs? Thats what makes it work! Its supposed to be on your skin to regulate temp etc…. wearing it OVER your bib means 50% has got your bib between skin and layer. Also stops bibs rubbing on shoulders.

Like the lines of that frame…. would make a lovely jump bike!

Trade used to stick around the 2/3’s of RRP mark but again, it varies with each manufacturer.

I’ve been working in the electrical industry and most Contractors will get 50% off trade on most lighting. We give the wholesalers 60%ish but make just over 50% GP ourselves.
Makes me wonder why we have trade pricelists and then give 50% off!!!!!
Cable is the scary stuff tho, its been marked up soooo much most wholesalers will give a 98% discounts on the common stuff!
