Haven’t had a cigarette-out-a-box since i stopped but rolling tobacco still gets me.

Supper skinny rolly with menthol filters in silver papers with a nice big vodka.

    aaaaaaaaah.

    Old habits & that.

Standard “first aid at work” trained off to do an “outdoor first aid” to bolt on to my T.C.L in the Spring.

Love to learn skills that may make a real difference anywhere one day, but hopefully the skills wont be called on.

    Sounds like a challenge Merak.

How’s this, how many Buckies, how many Leffes?

Ken some boys who can do 3/4 Buckie Bottles but boke at Leffe….

I can’t get around the volume of liquid consumed by having 5+ 750’s.

    Boggled.

    Depends who you ask. :D

Talk fist, think second, act third.

This. A million times. It’s on my report card, and many annual reviews.

What’s that about mistakes and learning?

    FOUR!

I love my beers but 2 big bottles of Leffe Brunne and i’m in full social smoking shouting at familiars mode.

Ruins me completely. One of those beverages, different for some folk, but it sheets my face off.

For what it’s worth, tonight we have Screwdrivers.

BB7’S are wonderful. Set them up correctly and -like all parts-keep an eye on them, stop on a dime power but no modulation.

With a 180front and 160back setup I haven’t found anything better for the money.

I’d have them over “cheap” hydraulics every single time.

In the same breath i’d have quality rigid forks over “cheap” suspension.

But I like them so much I have spare calipers in the cupboard I got cheap, ready to go on the next build.

If you couldn’t guess, I’m a big fan.

    I do bikes.

Details are boring, bike’s and bike bits aren’t.

Then after they day, it’s bikes.

    Bikes, eh!?

I have aligned the funds and will be haranguing The Bike Chain for M90’s tomorrow.

I would buy them to pre-empt the “dry” season, but that would be too much. Thanks though.

Re:Puke Hill. That ride popped my cherry, but thank’s to you lot of scamps i’m up Pentlanding all the time, still spraff in the woods though when I eat a tree.

If you’re still falling over them in March, I will buy them.

*EDIT* n/m, Willy’s on the case.

11 trainer, 12 boot bigjim. Thanks for the offer.

I know it’s not just Edinburgh/West Lothian’s but holy jebus, i’m used to plonking along the canal for a bit. Once I’m in Farmland all watery hell breaks loose.

I’m thinking M90’s, maybe overshoes/Gators, good old trusty Merino long-johns, some sort legging plus overtrousers. The top half is well taken care of.

I am not a very sexy man until Spring :-).

I have some Revolution ones which are doing the trick as waterproof and super warm above freezing at the moment.

I remember last year windchill being a major factor with them and needing liners.

I have been known to pop those little re-useable hand warmers in on the back of my hand. Pogies look like just the trick for extremes.

Honestly motorman, most days it’s ok, but today and last Thursday was madness…

Not bothered about the bike, Inbred’s all SS and sealed up.

The cycling part’s brilliant, thundering through it all at 6am and the gear I have is warm, for 3-7 degrees which is standard. But not dry. At all. Nor does it dry during the day.

THUS, since i’m having so much fun I might aswell be dry and warm.

As a reward, i’m going to give a certain mechanic the pleasure of a full strip and rebuild come the new year. narhar.

    Gusset 1 1/8 Slinky Chain.

    DMR SSKit’s the standard.

Do not buy a DMR Tensionseeker 2.

    Let’s talk ratios

No use to the OP but I used to go years ago when it was the Carling.

Never experienced toilets quite like it, such unmitigated anarchy.
