The old man blames his mum and dad for every single failure and discrepancy in
his life, it’s been an emotional parasite his whole life.

I refuse to become him in that respect. I also refuse to judge him as a father until I have kids.

Drive round, mate. Knock on the door. If he tells you to **** off, there you go.

Didn’t know it was him out that band. Million Dead were my favourites as a yoof.

I play Breaking the Back in my head when I get on the tube sometimes.

Is “Ladies & gentlemen we are floating in space” an overused and obvious first song?
Got to get the important things sorted..

I’m playing “Bullshit Engagement bingo” the next **** that says “finalised” is for it.

Family in Toulouse. Wine sorted. Photographer, sorted. Good, flowers, decorations all being done by the wedding army.

Once the venue is sorted its all go frugal fun, including the food which is ANTI pasti. Posh finger food with a polemic twist sourced from local trade contacts. Beer ditto.

Brilliant stuff from all involved. I’ll be making some calls this evening.

I have already learned that a beautiful white gold ring with a diamond is NOT an engagement ring. Only the ones costing 300 more can be called engagement rings. Apparently.

“Yeah, it’s not for a wedding. Just your normal “gathering of people” rate please…”
COME ON IS THIS MY LIFE ALREADY WHO AM I, PRINCE BLOODY WILLIAM!

There’s a school of thought that proposes MDMA cured my anxiety and depression.

Hypothetical situations aside, plant food has been **** people up for years because the law insisted on legal alternatives.

As the “understanders” will testify, the “danger” isn’t new. Just how it’s presented. Ive had a worse time avoiding early onset cirrhosis than staring at a full moon dancing to Bloc Party.

Whatever. The debate is older than the problem. Talking, talking, talking….

Interesting topic as I seem to be collecting copies of the Gormenghast trilogy. I picked the Folio set for a bargain in a charity shop after years of looking.

I had better start saving now. £2250 for a first press first edition collection.

    One day.

Not a Tom Stade fan live. Too stoned to be smart half the time.

Stuart Lee is in the list too. Think/laugh/think

Seen them all. Jim Jefferies Alcoholocaust tour was the most awkward night I’ve been to. The Pleasance crowd didn’t get it at all.

Me and the missus did.Looking forward to seeing Maron as soon as I can.

I should probably go see more breakthrough stand up rather than waiting for the fringe.

It’s ok. They all put top quality Welsh amphetamines in their morning Capri Sun.

I’ve always reckoned hangovers often decide whether you drink much after 25.

As in my experience, if they start to decimate you, there’s no real way to continue drinking a bottle of Vodka every Friday. If you can handle them, good luck.

I subscribe fully to the opinion that’s it’s important for an employer to value the employee, particularly in monetary terms. If you are simply expected to work for free, rather than being considered an “affordable expense”, then there is a lack of mutual respect and no common value of assets.

ON THE LEFT. Always, for everything locomotive. Particularly stupid idiot joggerists.

I am tired of explaining these rules to people shouting at me for getting in their way. Jesus wept, out his left eye. Sigh.

Sometimes I pretend I did to get a nasty, reductive and belligerent response from retirement age Tory voters like my dad.

Then say “Only joking, voted labour”.

I’ve now come to the conclusion that a bit of moderate pain is a good thing, nice time to reflect and remind myself to take more care of my body.

After the anaesthesia wore off I declined all hobbyists opiates in favour of Cougars way.

I was ruminating on t be notion of what it must be like to live with chronic/acute pain of any kind and as such feel very content.

Going back for another 2 next week.

Forget this happened and show up at work spectacularly drunk at 6am.

I work with too many morons who dodge paying it “because I don’t have a tv, tv is for idiots”.

Sex ’cause the happy people I know have little capital wealth, but look young and vigorous.

All the moneybags are angry and miserable and bemoaning their lack of sexery.

Also, Mrs.C has excellent genes. If we stay poor and she looks like her mum/aunts I’m fine with that.

Also, I’d rather be buying blue pills in my 80’s than looking at my mansion having a miser **** over the Boden catalogue.

Looking to manage all in/out ops with a small team of 4-10 in a proportionally high turnover stockroom environment. Ie:10-15k daily ambient/chilled produce.

Looking for multiple responsibilities including online/distribution/training and development.

It’s clearly a problem when you think it’s a problem and drink anyway.

Two bottles of vodka a week and at least 6 beers a day? By my own admission I was an alcoholic, perhaps not by anyone else’s definition but I was aware of my problem.

    Behaviour Modifications Required, chaps.

I’d consider you lucky. And I envy you slightly.

If I’d been born intolerant to alcohol, I’d have more teeth, a lot less debt and look much younger. No regrets, I really liked it.

    It is poison,after all.

Edit. Alcohol Flush. isn’t that when you’ve had a massive glass of white wine really fast? Beamer.

For the first time in my life, I’m voting with my head not my heart. I hope to get married, buy a house, have kids, get a dog etc in the next four years. With that in mind, the unfathomably diluted & obtuse democracy we so far inhabit has shown me that whoever stands to “represent” me in government will make **** all difference to how I proceed with the above ambitions.

It’s a crock of shit. I don’t hear a single voice saying anything particularly agreeable. A little bit if decency, respect and a reminder that there is no you and them , just all of us would be a start.

    **** it.

For Edinburgh folk it was at Haymarket/Dalry Junction from Morrison St. Mental.

Good information above. I imagine I’d get away with it if I sent a tweet like this “just hit a pedestrian, whoops.Stupid sun!#sorrymate” on the way home.

Tell them EVERYTHING you need to, as soon as you can, or suck it up.

I never said that I hope she dies a vestibule of visceral despair, pissing tears of burning regret having lived a life of sycophantic whoring and father **** fantasy.

I never got a chance. Now she writes for a national paper and I regret saying “Yeah you take care too”.

Part of my hyperbolic concern would be the fear of a prejudiced jury on a ridiculous convoluted dangerous driving charge.

“A cyclist collided with the mother of three today while speeding through a pedestrian crossing, leaving her with multiple fractures and unable to work”.

etcetera. Gave me a wee fright, so it did.
