I wish my parents charged me “digs.

Was a spoiled only child growing up so figuring out how stuff was paid for shocked & ruined me for years.

However much it is, I’d like to think Ill be charging my kids a substantial amount of their income. Stick in savings for them.

Any good tips for a homemade practice pad?
They were too expensive 10 years ago and still are now.

Drums might replace bikes this winter. I’ve been bitten all over again.

That is a proper trials bike. Not for me.

I love what I do on it. I broke it. But it cost 300 and I would’ve paid that for the frame Andy fork so I reckon it has 2 builds in it: This second “get really good” build Amd then the “ultra build”.

    Frame and fork mean alot.

Back wheel, same time, two weeks running in winter 2012. Farmer laid Uber Thorns out under puddles for us. Everyone else had marathon plus… My Racing Ralphs lost.

Long walk salvaged by M & S petrol station posh Nosh on a long walk home.

Spare tube used day before, despite working for a bike distribution company, no tubes available that sad day.

Got home 2 hours late, 6 sausage rolls, 1 bag of nachos & 2 bottles of White later.

Rs7 quite pricey. It just needs to be up and running pronto, I can save for the ultra build when I figure out how to drop 10 steps without popping a spoke.

Running front hydraulic brake only for various reasons, Sun’s out…. Need street.

Good idea with the M6’s there…

Rear hub ATM is an old sun ringle 6 bolt, brakeless.

I’m a full time singlespeeder so probably do 24/12 on this.

By “trials” I mean “bike parkour” so for every pivot & manual, there’s stair sets and flat drops too.

I just want to get out on it in the summer!

    FSA oversized headset bought.

Brilliant stuff, but I hoarded mine on Trade and haven’t touched it now I live without that privilege.

Receptor helmet, iris goggles, flow jersey & gloves 3 years old and perfect.

As for those corduroy shorts… NOT FOR RIDING.

Was alright. Would have rather had a new Akrigg one.

    I had a Mapex M Series.

Sold it for drink, drugs & a Pizza Hut buffet sometime a decade ago.

Now I fumble around life, desperately waiting to be reunited with the percussion throne.

I just voted but it was a bit like a racist Grand National Sweepstakes. Just pick one and hope for the best.

I hopefully chose the least xenophobic, autocratic, gaggle of charlatans from the “who’s the nicest liar” list.

    C.B.T.

It’s not a nice sandwich, but as a way of thinking it works for me.

I had a temper, a violent one, for years and I found the source to be anger & confusion at my own ADHD tempered way of thinking.

Eg: I want toast, a cup of tea with milk and sugar and then a banana. I’d end up dropping the toast on the floor and the snap fury would see the cup being smashed and it all going to shit because i wanted everything to happen immediately from the point of genesis.

Learning to STOP and THINK SLOWLY saved me a lot of trouble, but it took a long time to get to where I am now.

And for the wise sage Rastafari collective: It doesn’t kill the problem, it puts a wall up. Deal with the problem, get messy. Don’t get messy to forget the problem. *word*
