It’s shameful more “politicians” don’t get punched in the head.

On another note, Nigel Page is becoming a personal hero for what he’s doing with Team CRC, absolutely brilliant.

    The Ultimate ****..

Personal, professional, layman experience. Faultless in his pursuit of cockish “don’t you Ken who I am” twatbag.

    Rich though.

I cried and paid the taxi man 20 quid to take me to the train station then got a taxi 20 quid home.

    Worst ride ever.

That was 5 years ago and now I recognise the onset.

    Wow.

Reminds me of those first Fallout 3 trailers that made me buy a 360.

    No money now though.

Are we having some kind of competition to see who can post the most moronic, rambling, mindless nonsense on this thread? If so, it’s a tough call. Some prime candidates

That answers the question but doesn’t save me £13.

Still, shiny. Will bear in mind.

Yer but once I did meet “one of those soldiers”.

He probably isn’t your mate, he probably hasn’t been caught and is definitely a murderer.

But he had a wide and kids and coached football and had a HfH wristband.

    Tar, brush, across the board.

This is awful; You know what kills more people than people?
    Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Dysentery. Fix that.

Edit: Had one conversation too many about this shit today.

I’ve said this before here. Courtesy of rotten & steak & cheese circa 2002/2003 my curiosity allowed me to watch dial up videos of the very worst kind of atrocities.

I never appreciated the value and effect of watching stuff from Bosnia/ Iraq-1st time- and various grim suicides at the time. In the long term I believe it’s made me a kinder person, but the old adage is true: Something seen can never be unseen.

Watch it, you will never cleanse the images from your memory but it’s nothing more significant than some more obscure Don mcCullin or exhibits at genocide/holocaust memorial centres.

Back to plan A. It wasn’t taking on the other side so I just let the pedal thread itself. Just desperately trying to get this built up and it will be replaced later.

Soft suntour crank, hard shimano pedal bolt ftw

    Success.

I can get Graham at Harts to do it for small beer, not an urgent thing. Running the pedal through the other sides worth a bash when I get home.

And it’s on a driveside Suntour crank taken off the Carrera Vulcan.

Currently smug as smug bananas because all the bike bits in the bike room I’ve never thrown out, despite Mrs. C’s persistent consternation, are being used. Schwing.

*Thanks all. Northwind I’ll be that in mind.

After 2 months, anything is worth harvesting. I tend to keep my eye on things and make a mental note if it has just been left out in all weather.

Amazing how quickly they can be stripped by so many different folk.

To the OP, genuine question: given the above, what are you basing your perception of the changing face of humanity on?

I suppose the same thing that happens to everyone, the more you live the more you learn. Having just turned 27, I’m hardly a paragon of experience. I look at all the perennial world issues: war, inequality, freedom from oppression, and wonder if everyone’s default setting was kindness, say the concept of greed just didn’t exist, wouldn’t it be better.

Then I get slapped for being a hippie.

He has alluded to it himself that “girls of dubious legality” were imbibed along with everything else, as was the case I presume for every band ever up to around the time Motley Crue died. “She looked 16 m’lud” worked then, not now.

My point was whether or not the musicians are next?

First they came for the tv presenters…

You can be fat as you like in my book, but dont be lazy. Or use being fat as an excuse not to do things, like walk.

    Medical issues aside.

These things are not mutually exclusive as we all know some large, healthy fit, active people. Contrary to popular belief, they do exist.

OP here. Will dedicate myself to reducing & defining my position later but I shall clarify this:

For me, right now, it’s a matter of perspective. less to do with genocide on the news, more about perceiving the world to be less empathetic and more destructive than a few years ago. Which depresses me greatly. I’m not nihilistic, I want to want to be hopeful and for that positivity to be vindicated by some source of useful information that proves that “we” are progressing towards unity, not complete annihilation.

By “we” I mean everyone on earth. People will say to me “people are shit”. I don’t believe they are, but it looks that way.
For those who wonder: I don’t watch tv news or buy newspapers, no Facebook, no Instagram, not a socialist, not a capitalist, not yes, not no.

I’m well read, if the above is a guide, reading Foulcault & Marx in the early days through Orwell, Bradbury and Golding and the God delusion and Origin of species and latterly a lot of spoken word stuff: Allen Ginsberg, Benjamin Zephenia etc.

    Yer, what Northwind said.

Sessioning the new green which takes about 15 mins to get to from car park.

Marked 10 under is a good walk. Apparantly, judging by the amount of bimbly ramblers on it.

If you’re interested in ruining your tyres, there’s some slate fireroad in the middle of the forest that might give you adrenaline fuelled drifty adventures.

In a similar vein TooTall. I’ve been part of two distribution companies whose P.P.P resulted in redundancies because anarchic stock control led to the loss of massive orders and failure to satisfy the slightest increase in demand.

Somewhere, an inventory manager is wet with fear, probably every single morning ’cause it’s all going to shit around them. Hopefully. Otherwise it’s one of the sort that don’t actually care about accuracy and ruin it for everyone.
