A skills course for me tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll know what I’m doing on a bike after that. Probably go to Guisborough on Sunday.

I don’t believe it can be any better than the right mixture of flapjack and jelly babies.

I threw bottles at them when they played at Donington. Their emergence was the start in a massive decline in heavy rock.

Our border terrier ended up in dog intensive care after eating a bowl of potpourri.

I was hoping Angela Rippon would come back and save us all.

Both are good. I’ve got a couple of Gibson models which are great and have played a few Epiphone as well. All good. I’d get an Epiphone and spend the rest of the money on something like a Blackstar 5 watt amp. You can get some great sounds out of that combination.

That’s a good read. Nice to see my home town, Saltburn, get a mention.

It’s a poor show by the angry God’s. They missed the chance of zapping the girl with a bolt of lightning live on Sky news.

I was like that for a while after crashing. It’s the sensible part of your brain taking control 😐

It’s all relative. You need to get heavier.

I wouldn’t have any qualms about what you’re doing. It sounds like you’ve got a bunch of people on your hands who’ve been allowed to take the piss for years.

I saw them at the end of last year when they supported Motorhead. I thought they were superb. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve camped at Wray castle before. Its a nice setting right on the edge of Windermere and pretty close to Grizedale.

Being 6 foot I was right on the border between M and L on the YT sizing guide. Plenty of advice on the sizing issue on the forums though so went for the L.

I’ve gone for the CF Comp 1 if anyone has any specific feedback on that model.

I ride at Guisborough a lot and my Camber does the job in the forest and up on the moors, down the rock garden etc.

I leave mine in T most of the time now. C for long fire road climbs or stretches of road. Occasionally use D for more radical descents. When I first got the CTD I was constantly switching the thing for every change in trail.

Forgetting to switch from C to D is what I blame for the OTB that broke my ribs in the Lake District 😥

I’m working with someone who has the Bose playing in our office and it sounds pretty good to me. Thinking of getting one myself and I’m normally a bit of a hifi snob.

An article in Classic Rock a while back broke all the costs etc down for different side bands/ venues. A band like The Answer playing at theO2 made about 500 quid a night per band member.

Well that was a good and sad way to spend my night, just listened to the flying teapot trilogy with a few beers.

Turning on around the wheel of births and deaths”

    If you want to fly,
if you want to become a star
    a superhero
You could try the ascension of the great pyramid of life
Counting again and again from one to nine
Approaching and pushing away infinity – O sweet absurdity!
But if you prefer that old silly number zero
You’ll become a master of doing nothing – being nothing

I could swear that I saw it up in the sky
Only teapots, I never knew they could fly
It was green as an emerald in the blue
Now I’m wondering if it was really you

You’ll have to elaborate on that story tang, it sounds as surreal as the flying teapot trilogy 🙂

Which I’m sat listening to right now.

    RIP
I’ve been listening to his music since I was 16, still love the early Gong albums.
