Yes CAD, audio, word etc all covered. Same as PC's.
yes There is more than just the apps store. same as pcs.
very the same as a PC repair. Electronics fail so rarely its not even worth considering.

You'll go through about 4 pc's for the lifespan of one mac. And a whole lot less reinstalling of operating systems. My 9 year old mac has had about 3 clean installs mainly at major OS upgrade times.

My work PC has had 3 in 1 year and only deals with email and a few word docs and is professionally maintained. It crashes and freezes.
The mac is barley looked after, thrashed with video and graphics and internet and is only recently unable to keep up with modern web content. But its still working.

Mac minis suffer with their shared graphics memory. But for a couple of kids would be ideal.

There is no problem with kids being able to use both a Mac and a PC. Surely a major skills advantage! And they will never lose their homework with time machine. And their slide shows will be much better. Have you seen the wee PC girl on the telly – her slide show is pish!

mpeg streamclip will convert to DV for FC after a bit of trial and error and will play back without rendering.

Check sample rate is 44.1khz in sequence settings. canvas size is important too. It never seems to be consistent either even from the same camera.

Check FC is using the right soundcard internal or USB/FW if youve got one.

Every manufacturer seems to have HD files that are different. Some are not even "real" HD.

I gave up and have reverted to tape. It Last's longer for archive purposes too.

Yeah I reckon stick with tape for now. Domestic HD is not real HD, the quality is pish. And for archiving, your tapes will last longer than a dvd.

Find one with video in for helmet cam use. and preferably with actual buttons rather than touch screen.

Salt market is so dodgy you will probably end up riding my bike. These nice gentlemen from the Empire bar bought me a pint.
No one in the West end would do that!

What are we on about anyway? Who cares. :-)

The bams have well spoiled it for everyone else. The rangers are all now special constables and the police patrol the loch in the summer too.

Nearly been run over in a kayak and had "ya couple of fannys" shouted at us as we asked a doof doof car to turn their music down.

The campsites need formalised/banned American style.
Axes and wood cutting equipment should be confiscated on arrival. YOU do NOT NEED an axe to have a fire.
Wood supply and more Rubbish collection points could be operating. Making idiots use them would be more problematic. You basically have to take these people by the hand.

I really only go in winter when it's quiet and bam free.

Take the dud GU 10's out There may be debris shorting inside.

Are the gu 10's on a track? Fuses in the track? Corrosion causing a short?

Get the landlord to fix it, thats why you pay them.

There were some optimistic downhillers and people with helmets on backwards. And nobody had their logos lined up with valve caps. Ya'll wouldn't have liked it! (Just kidding)

martin at http://www.vantuner.co.uk for realistic remapping and advice. I have met him and he's done 2 of my pals vans to great effect. better torque and fuel economy. Mines not really worth doing until i have fixed its faults!

He can also do remaps by post for certain vehicles but the best option is where he will spend a day getting it just right. If you need to return to factory spec he can do that too.

Sounds like you had the sail too close hauled for your angle to the wind. So when you let it out or steered closer to the wind out you suddenly had more power and then would capsize. You can luff up or let the sail out to depower normally but if too close hauled you'll get wet.

Ignore the tiller extension until you are more confident in heavier wind.

When you do use it, place it behind you to keep it out the way.

You cannot go straight into the wind. Older boats with saggy sails make terrible progress upwind.

And put a leash on the rudder/tiller. They can fall off and sink. And check centreboard casing top and bottom for leaks. can be fixed with silicon.

John Lewis!!! If you dont like the colour or the smell you can take it back and swap it. and they are as cheap as online now.

I bought a telly online once and had to activate little sister lawyer when I wanted my money back after a year of cock ups. Was a discount TV type outlet.

Did they actually do anything? I only saw handovers – what's coming next week – Some footage from the Boat show, who and where they are and some "jovial banter"

If I was 8 years old I'd be even more disappointed.

Your Hornet sounds more like a wood wasp if its pluttering rather than buzzing. Did it have a big ovipositer? (Looks like a Giant stinger)

The Dung beetles are remnants of savannah conditions in the uk in the past. When there were Rhinos and stuff running about.

Damsel flys close their wings when stationary, Dragon flys keep them open.

Robber fly rings a bell but i'm sure a wee google will find it.

Channel 5's audio sync is sometimes awful. which is good as it means its even more unwatchable..
