Dunadd – crown yourself king or queen of dalriada (shoe Size 5 is about right. bring your own boars blood/sacrifice of your choice)
Carnasserie castle – Run about, shout into the dungeons/well
standing stones – Pause for a moment and remember these were up BEFORE the pyramids.
Cairns – pretend you are dead, crawl in a hole. Well I did when I was 5…still do.
    kayak in loch sween
Hide in the monastic cells on Eilan Mor
    Boat Hire tayvaillachVisit Cruachan powerstation
Inverary jail is a bit tooristy/tired and wasted on a 5 year old.

    For bikes
The forest road south of crinan to tayviallach is nice. There are loads of options for maw and weans to get somewhere and dad to nip back to get car if it gets too much. There is a flat track down the wee peninsula in loch sween ideal for a picnic at the end.

There were Beavers but someone shot them.

For a cheap price you have to be extremely flexible with delivery and collection times and dates. I did it once with a kayak. Took about a month to get to scotland.

If its time sensitive the price is obviously dearer.

Are you bothered about GIT insurance? That is why it is cheap. There may not be any.

in my multi arts/sports complex, I have great intention to go swimming in the pool…but the number of "code browns" I hear over the radio puts me off somewhat. The library is much safer.

Technically legal – but not advisable and not really within the spirit of wild camping.

Others will follow suit and then we will be scraping human jobbies of our bike tyres. You might be a responsible camper but other people will not. Then trees will be chopped and then GT will restrict access.
Yer asking for trouble from neds with cars if you hang about the car park. A forestry commission car park near civilisation is NOT a place to be at night. Rural polis do check these places and may wonder what you are doing.

If you really must, away up to the top somewhere out of sight.

Not all forestry commision land is FC. Some may be private and managed by the FC.
Expect 2-3 years for permission, setbacks, re applications for funding, re appling for different funding should plans change.

You could try working alongside a local access forum. They have retired people working for them, it can be pretty much a full time job just doing the admin. My folks have been working for three years on a long distance footpath. It already exists to some extent. But to market it and link it up require all sorts of guff. They have been refused access for one section. A reroute requires a new 16 page form to be filled in and another consultation document produced. and another funding app. they cant use the original one….plans changed see?!

    But

I also would not get too excited about another "stanes" project. I have a FC chum who admits that the seven stanes created a bit of a monster for the FC that they can almost cope with at the moment but any more would start causing them problems. He doesn't reckon there will be any new trails for a long time yet and we'll have to take what wur gied.

    Good luck.

I think you need to book about a month in advance in NI. Google the NI equivalent?

Like the UK I suspect you'd have to register eventually if you stay for a long time in the ROI

Some of the laminate foils don't like heat. Even from the companies own fitted ovens.

Wee sis's from Ikea delaminated at some corners but they sorted it straight away with guarantee.

Ikea can be a bit of a faff if there are bits missing and you are doing it yourself. You can always take extra and take it back. Ikea carry replacements for their stock for about 3 years.

Magnet once came and quoted £4000 for my galley kitchen. My poverty spec from ikea came to £1100 – Luxury spec is £1300 so not really much difference just changing the look.

Yes you can bounce individual tracks, selected tracks, the whole lot, selections within tracks.

I think there are MP3 options and stuff too. QT pro will let you do loads of conversions to other stuff.

Would going round by the tree or out the front door not be easier?

If it has to go over the wall, 4 scaff planks and a block and tackle.

Or chat up some builders with a JCB (beer works) Blagged a fork lift this way once.

My folks just continued the insulation board underneath their solar collectors, round the rest of the conservatory roof. Cover it with a suitable fabric and better than blinds. Works summer and winter. No need to be hoovering up insects either.

My mum drove one into a truck head on. It did quite well. She bought another white one. It became known as the Pope Mobile. Storage space and access brilliant. I learnt to drive in one.

There are only so many ways you can say. Its bad weather, you're going to be delayed. The planes cant fly because you might die.

Transport systems will breakdown and sheer demand will cascade problems further down the system. If you can't see it coming you are an idiot. Anyone with any sense will be able to work out themselves what might be happening.

They are told plenty of information. They just have no patience or a plan B. Those who can afford it will buy themselves out of the situation. yeeze takes yer chance etc…

Although it does sounds like an evacuation disaster waiting to happen in the tunnel…

Further research indicates repair may be out of my budget. You have to order made to measure from a specialist or live with a crappy triad.

I'm trying the RP2 as the triad is rubbish. It seemed to have full rebound damping v slow or none at all. There were no intermediate settings. It was either too hard or blew through all its travel. I tried all sorts of pressures and settings.

When it expired while stationary in the hall at home by pissing oil all over the floor I couldn't really get upset.

If any one knows what length to buy that would be great? I've got one thats too long! Its going back unless anyone wants to furnish me with £140 for 1 Fox Racing Shox Float RP2 2008 – 215mm – 60mm Stroke

Does anyone know what the correct length for a stumpjumper 2006 is?

There are wide silver bushes? on the new shock. The old one has a slimmer one at one end and an internal bush at the other. It looks like it would fit without the silver bits. Am I confusing the silver bits for bushes? Maybe they are not bushes?

CRC say they come without bushes.

A flashing indicator only means the bulb is working. Never trust someone's else's signals. It means they are about to do something…and you won't know exactly what until they do it.

And this hazard light flashing/indicator bouncing crap that seems to mean thank you but really means I'm not concentrating\my hand is through the centre of the steering wheel/i'm giving misleading signals needs to be banned.

Labcraft's leds are good. I fitted 2, 50 cm strips inside and one 30cm awning light over the back door.

Your're wasting yer time with a 12 volt kettle.

A utilities/rail van might have all of the above already fitted.

You have reached that age when all your pals have kids.
You just have to deal with it and either be down with the kids and let them play on your (insert cool thing here) …or that boring man/woman that talks about politics…"mummy can we go home now please…They are weird they made us say grace"
