I worked alongside one at Pizza Hut. The pizza deliveries were subsidising his start up. I think he was in a franchise though and regretting not going it alone.

Looks like all my freelance theatre and events industry colleagues are now working in Tesco and the like. The Trucks are hauling food instead of scenery and gear and the shelves are being stacked by highly motivated Stage Managers and Designers and Technicians that thrive in a crisis and like to get things done in under 4 hours.

Manufacturers range and actual range is ALWAYS different. It Depends on many factors.

On a flat canal I cold get the full range of 70miles.

Real world use is about half that. battery should last about 3 or 4 years.

I went through two unrepairable shimano motors, refused to buy another at £735 and can only recommend bosch or baofeng.

We are still cycling for the mental health benefits. (the other half has paperwork) Our biggest risk is a communal stair and some of our neighbours who we know are vulnerable and most likely to be a bit slack with the personal hygiene. We have upped our bannister cleaning and notice that the distancing effects of Mental health issues mean there is not much change from “our” normal. I think that is going to be the follow up crisis to this.

National Arts Company – Our season was already weighted towards the end of the year, just in time for CVirus wave 2… Community projects, Tours, International Travel eeek! Continuing as normal for the moment, but I predict a quiet year for us, a terrible year for all the freelancers and probably we write off and reschedule everything and just do a lot of maintenance and internet pod casting.

They are terrible on hills but so comfy! I’ve got a Semi recumbent Tandem . (circe morpheus) . With a good stoker in the front recumbent position it has a great cruising speed. Have fitted electric assist for the hills, low speed maneuvers and Cargobike mode.

Condensation/moisture sensor in the Head unit? Pioneer seem like the sort of folk that might fit something like that?

The steering wheel controls in mine for the radio lose functionality or recover if I accidentally stall it.

Buy the guidebook and help support the volunteer group that admininister, build and maintain it, or stay with my folks at http://www.balmillig.co.uk and get excellent route advice from them. ( the aforementioned admin and builders!). Awesome breakfasts too and a hot tub.

    Shanghai.

Electric motorcycles everywhere. They seem to do what Transit vans do here.
Trucks and vans very rare in the city – only seem to come at Night.
Massive roads intended for future demand but pretty good bicycle lanes.
Good underground network built under the road network cut and cover style.
Daily use Services and Housing within walking distance of each other.

    Berlin/Germany

Housing areas have no through routes available as Rat runs. Traffic speeds low. They do like to use a car though.

    Korea
Big Chinese style infra. Good Rail and Underground and pretty good buses. Obsessed with the car. Congestion at popular leisure destinations. Bicycle not a consideration unless a leisure route. Walking not considered much unless leisure but services close to housing. Vertical Villages in rural areas to save space for agriculture. Walking parks with dedicated retail outlets for walking equipment.

Sounds like your car is the same as my mondeo. I’m sticking with it for a good while yet. It did have an exhaust gas temp failure which caused Sooting and £1100 to repair but I know it’s good. I’ve been in few of its more modern equivalents recently and apart from entertainment system, none are as big, practical or smooth. German stuff is expensive, sporty suspension is harsh. Vauxhall is noisy and dullest drive ever. Hyundai have consistently noisy rear bearings. Peugeot’s And Citroen are
cool but small. Volvos too expensive.

Many places in Scotland and some of them quite large have volunteer crews. They might do the emergency initial response but I reckon for a long duration incident it would make more sense to send a crew from somewhere with more alternatives.

If its been well sealed and not water based it might be fine. It might have a skin on.

If the tin seal is damaged then forget it.

If you are good at getting a good seal then storing upside down is a good way to retain paint for a long time. There is a risk of leakage so do it in a container.

    Open it and find out.

A82 Dumbarton to Balloch often has roadies on it. As a local I expect them and give plenty space, but since it’s a major tourist route with multiple wrong way drivers killing or getting killed, and the normal idiot locals not giving a shit, no way! Alternatives exist.

Was the intention was a panic emergency stop, but they have hit the gas rather than the brake? It happens a lot.
