I did someone mention £50 per metre! So £45k in our case!!

Following the link, I assume that FTTP on demand is just that – we have to ask for it and pay for it?

EDIT BT site seems to suggest £2.5k plus 496 quid a year

I get the distance bit but we get more now than they claim we would get as a new customer? I can’t see next door being routed to a different cabinet either? Maybe some historical nonsense?

Haven’t read all previous posts but Alpine Trek have some nice discounts on some Arteryx gear. Other clobber too if Arc is not your bag.

Wouldn’t you want space under the bench to sit?

Got told off by him twice! Once because he and his pals had to head out and rescue a university group that got themselves benighted on the Aonach Eagach and once because of inappropriate clothing (in his view) walking up Ben Nevis.

Wouldn’t have been a problem but I was sat in the pub for the first one, just happened to be a student from the same uni! Second one, the guy he was moaning about just happened to be stood near us as we were already descending! Tbf, he was dressed in trainers and blowing hard a third of the way up the footpath!

Always had time for a chat though and genuinely seemed to care about keeping people safe.

Well I’ve taken the plunge – won’t be fitting until Feb time as they are for a BFe Max on order.

The ARD inserts come with them – guess they are similar to Rimpacts etc. Anyone run such things? Are they noticebly better than not having them…?

friend of mine lived just out side the National Park boundary but Peak Planning had some kind of jurisdiction still. They were very unhelpful to the extent that he moved rather than adapted the property to the needs of his growing family. We’re talking converting run down outbuildings into useable space here rather than doubling the size of the property or such like.
His was very rural and would have had zero impact visually to anything locally. Don’t know if location helped or hindered him. Was a few years ago now.

OP, will they not offer a by pass operation now? Makes sense to do it whilst strong? Or is the risk heightened during such a procedure? GWS anyway

Ours was a curved shower enclosure door! Guy fitting it properly shat himself, got a few small pieces in him as well so it must have been scary when it happened. I worked at a place that tested these things (different area of the business) and the testing manager said 1 in 1500 would fail in this way and far more if not handled ‘correctly’.

Corbyn’s statement about AS was clear in that he hates the very thought of it. He could have concluded his statement with “It happened when I was Leader and therefore I am very sorry”. Instead he chose to mention exaggeration. Wrong time, wrong place.

Mine is a Morso but one with a curved glass front – if the glass goes the stove will follow shortly thereafter!! About 40% of the total stove price!!

Same for me, really struggling with groupsets, wheels etc. I know that Leisure Lakes have bars like Thomson and Deity in stock. They were the only place I could source the saddle that I wanted as well.

Currys – problem with a printer so need to return. Fill in this online form and we’ll be in touch says the website…they were. As your item is more than 30 days old we will need to speak with you about your options, please use webchat (doesn’t work and hasn’t for three/four days) or call us (warning that call waiting times are 1 hour plus).

Great, guess I’m stuck with a broken printer then! Anybody know if I can take such a thing to a store?

Thanks for that mutepoint! No messing eh? Can I ask if you say that because of the issues I’m having or because you know what is wrong with the phone?

Question – I assume that the SIM has to be in the new phone BEFORE the transfer of data? Or do we keep the SIM in the old phone, transfer the data and then try and set the new phone up (doesn’t seem logical)?

    Have tried that – nothing!

I can get to the screen which asks what type of back up you wish to import but then goes straight to the wifi screen again.

Molgrips, are there circumstances where they might not be able to be set up correctly i.e they just lag and that’s it? Can’t see what options i have left on the tv?
Currently watching the laptop with no issues at all.

avdave2 – seems as though you’re the guy that deals with this every day…are you suggesting that we line the recycling bins with wheelie bin liners? Wouldn’t that cause more issues down the line?

The bin morons that really get on my tits are the ones that overfill, then leave the lids half open in strong winds – obvioulsy facing the direction of wind and normally the night before collection! Then they drive past the scenes of carnage on their way to work and ignore all their neighbours picking up their shit.

I’ve taken to picking it up and dumping it in their porch.

The offer was legit through ebay, ‘offline’ probably the wrong phrase! I take the points about new photos needed.

Offers can be made ‘offline’, which don’t start the auction – buyers use it to avoid the risk of having to pay more via auction.

This clown did that but has seemingly backed out, its been three days now.

DezB – it is different, of course it is but would you prefer he had the conversation after ramming someone whilst texting? I agree that here are ‘levels’ of being a tit behind the wheel but its not unheard of for texting whilst driving having equally bad outcomes as drunk driving…

    Oh go on then…..

He really is as nice to deal with as that lot up there suggest! I’m off tonight to the area that he crayoned for me, very patient and very well received by the mate who’s 50th it was for.

Glad its working out as a living as I will be asking for more prints soon!

Is the problem that some of you have that he has the YT channel rather than the actual reporting? It seems a bit of both? Surely the YT bit helps get the message out that rightly or wrongly, someone may report bad driving!

Gap in policing! That’s nonsense, we’re WAY beyond gaps! I was rammed by a drunk driver a few weeks ago. I grabbed his car keys and called the police – should I have just let him go on his way and write to my MP about gaps in policing? Eevrybody shouyld, if they feel able, do their bit. Policing doesn’t have to be ‘them and us’, the police are just us!
