Pet hate about group holidays – especially technical climbs. Normally at least one in a group that doesn’t understand that the person behind would actually like to try the climb that they just failed. Get up and get out of the way!!

I know nothing about Reunion but have been to mauritius twice. First to Belle Mare Plage (next door to Saint Geran) and on the way back we won another holiday to the Dinarobin. We tagged an extra week on back at the Belle Mare Plage as we liked it so much. We had golf as a priority though.

Belle Mare Plage is 5 star but not at all poncy. We had the half board deal and the buffet (laid back) was exceptional. Its not Benidorm style all inclusive!

Dinarobin was even nicer but a tad too formal for my liking.

£5.50 a pint for Leffe in a chop house in manc. First and last visit…

Nurseries vary – my other half was in tears when we visited the first one (because of the bad feel she got), in happy tears after the 2nd! Both went/go to same place, both loved/love it.

I wouldn’t fancy the rigid holiday options of a child minder – plenty of that to come when school starts! Always wondered what would happen if she keeled over as well, unlikely but could happen.

Is that profit or turnover? Its not going to make anybody rich – your local Angel network will contain a variety of high net worth individuals. Most I suspect would wish you to run with it but there may be some that will take the idea for themselves and use their own people – just call Business Link for an introduction. BL is full of consultants that get paid/rewarded by the number of meetings they have with people like you. Be warned tho that many investment clubs / Angel networks charge you to pitch so as to weed out the many many crackpots out there!

We pitching for cash next week – its taken us 12 months or so to finally start getting the invites!

NDA is first step but if you can’t be bothered / not particularly interested in running it yourself then you’re unlikely to convince someone else of the merits. Gotta show a bit of passion!

Alternatively there are a multitude of IP exploiting companies out there that will listen. You might also try your local Business Link (who are usually inept IME) who might have an Angel network in your local area.

There is no easy win IMO.

Their “use to me” is that they might fund something that I actually need, hence my request for somewhere to sell them. I think its quite common for parents to buy things for their kids…

Chase him – I couldn’t “move on” knowing someone had done that to me. He will only get away with a peppercorn payment plan if he can prove that he has limited income – quite often these people are very comfortable – they just have no morals. That said, it is likely to happen all over again so a debt collector could be the best option, some hand over a pretty reasonable amount of the debt to you and make their margin through high fees to the debtor. As you have evidence of his admission of guilt over the debt, he will be unable to ‘dispute’ the debt with the collection agency.

Second Human Scale, I nearly fell asleep within 5 mins of getting in mine. I realise they’re not rockets but a quick look at the instructions (very unmanly) and you can improve the fit no end. Herman Miller great as well, think they do a re-furb service as well if you need it longer term. Look for the FIRA Ergonomics Excellence Award and you won’t go far wrong. I didn’t get on with my Aeron because of the under thigh support but each body is different…

Most of these companies have showrooms in London if you live close…

He said the child was crying not turning blue! If the staff can’t distract a child “that isn’t feeling themselves” then they aren’t doing their jobs. We’ve had this in the past when we’ve been called because one of ours “has a bit of a sniffle” – well WHERE DO YOU THINK THAT CAME FROM!!?

If they really think a child is ill they shouldn’t mince their words. Most parents will then drop whatever they are doing and go and collect their offspring because they know a problem exists.
