I have a Pioneer A400X in the garage – been boxed up for years. Is the suggestion that it could be worth something?

Another excuse (based on no logic at all) to keep paying more for Heinz. What were you thinking buying anything else?

In answer to the original question – of course you can. I wish however, that I had made a few more plans than I actually did, especially whilst in education. My kids will have the options and consequences explained to them! They can then make an educated choice.

Couldn’t get on with BF2 after Black Ops – never could work out on screen where the enemy was! Seems ‘quiet’ in comparison to MW games

Are you happy doing the searching – a friend of mine runs a sourcing business and he will find what you want and deliver it to your door if that appeals? He’s trade so can access cars that have been part ex’d into main dealers etc. Let me know if you want more info.

If you can’t help or won’t help, bog off and annoy someone else. He asked a bike related question on a bike orientated forum – be civilised.

Vectras are cheap to buy – they are NOT cheap to repair. I now own a Mondeo…

I’d have a word with the landlord – not about the rent but about the shoddy job the LA is doing on his behalf. Left unsaid and these issues will escalate to you becoming a problem tenant in the eyes of the landlord – not because you are in any way but because the LA is not likely to tell him that they have messed up are they!?

Just confirmed with Oakley – free! They had my custom already as they had been great in the past, why go anywhere else now!!!

I’m quite glad that someone that attacks an 80 year old serves time. The security breach embarrassment did him no favours however.

Anybody received a call or email yet? Or is someone trolling!

If they want a compromise then are they not obliged to pay for some initial legal advice for you? Independent.

I was heading in this direction so I instigated a grievance procedure against my MD. Made sure everything was put on record…

They ended up leaving me be and I found an exit in due course which suited me.

Might be some Jawbones with photochromic & polarised lenses in the classifieds in a week or two – if they don’t fit my fat head!

    Interesting read that!

Glad you got sorted and some shocking service from the sales guy at Lynksey. Your attitude to Si at Chumba leaves a little bit to be desired though…

Y is gone -forget about it, you shot yourself in the foot there. Stay at X whilst looking for alternative employment, which sounds feasible given your experience with Y. Forget legal avenues – even if you have a case, its far too stressful.

Why you would even contemplate staying at X in the first place is beyond me. They behave badly and you take it – perhaps you deserve each other? Maybe consider contract work if your are in the IT field – try a few things to find out that there is life outside of X!

I’ve heard of plenty of folk taking iPhones back to apple shops and having them replaced foc, even outside of warranty period. Seems to be plenty of goodwill around when it comes to iphones

I’ve just got the same estate – and no apertures for Thule feet as was the case in my previous generation hatchback. Sure Thule do footpacks but no idea how they fit on.

If OP is looking for an auto estate then I know a garage that has one with rails already on, 36k on the clock.

I’m confused by points 6-10 – what’s going on there? Where is track 6-7? Assuming 8-9 is ‘Potato Alley’? Or have I got that wrong? 9-10 being the Beast?

couldashoudawouda explains it well. Junkyard says the same thing (and thanks for the help btw) but needs to borrow a comma or two.

It really doesn’t help when CRC info states the following: –

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=15259

“Avid mount adaptor to mount a 74mm post mount caliper (i.e. Avid, Hayes, etc) to a 51mm International Standard frame mount to accommodate a 185mm rotor.”

It doesn’t accommodate a 185mm rotor on the rear!!

Glad to have provided some amusement…

The 203mm adaptor is the only one that works – the 185mm is still too small – even when the “right” way around!

Sorted now, even if it doesn’t make sense (to me anyway).

will try again – other way around. Thanks all, in my defence, its been a long day

Sorry – still don’t get it! Should the writing be on the inside? Its a rear adaptor and the arrow is pointing to the rear of the bike. whatever way around it still isn’t big enough to get the caliper off the rotor

Ah, got them in with some ‘persuasion’ but used standard silkolene grease! Guess they are going to get sticky pretty quickly?

Yeah but pretty sure I saw that type of back pack on there as well. Maybe Trunki took on the idea and made it better?

Wasn’t that seat on Dragon’s Den? Useful for cinema, theatre type things as well. Seemed to sell pretty well…

going though this myself and although the budget is bigger I was sorely tempted by a 2006 Accord Estate up at 5990 with 46k on the clock. Petrol and manual. It had sold before I got the garage…

Other than that a previous generation Mondeo

Fingers crossed for him and after what happened at the Masters it demonstrates that he has a pair! 65,66 (so close to a 64) and 68 at the US Open is up there with anything Woods has ever done. Even if he shoots 74 I think that will be enough.
