Generation Kill – from the same writers as the Wire…and it shows! Set in 2nd Iraq “war”, 7 part series. Some of the actors were the actual characters being portrayed as part of the marine recon unit that the series follows. I only found that out by watching the extras afterwards!

More people based rather than overtly shooty.

OK – its 240V. Switch next then? Any other possible reasons? It is a single switch btw.

I was enthused by the recording to external hard drive but then realised that you can’t record one channel and watch another at the same time. I find that very limiting. Works though – I have a small portable HDD taped to the back of my telly so no clutter. Reluctant is right about having to dedicate the HDD to the telly – cost me 33 notes so not too bothered.

Thanks all – I shall be living without HD in the ‘spare’ then!! My next question will be about taps…I love this place!

Both connected to same aerial. The HD tuner thing could be it? Is that simply Freeview HD in one and just Freeview in another? I wasn’t aware that they differed – bit odd having a HD TV if it doesn’t have capability of receiving HD channels…off to investigate.

    Thanks

You points are valid – you should have stopped there. Arguing in such a lofty manner is most unappealing to the average potential buyer. I’m having Superstar flashbacks…before he went completely doo lally.

Thanks all – I am home based and self employed. I have BT Infinity hub connected by ethernet and a wireless printer. It “could” be any of those but is listed as a PC Server which worries me! Also the fact that it won’t let me click on to find more detail….

I’ll turn off all sharing and see what happens.

    Thanks

I’ve been looking hard for a stove over the last few weeks and not come across them. They seem ‘copies’ of other makes designs to me. Are they Chinese? Says imported from Germany rather than made in Germany!

Anyway…ran the thing and nothing found. So I guess someone got into my Yahoo account? Changed the pw – will have to wait and see.

    Thanks for the non-bickering suggestions!

OPening is 2.12m wide by 2.05m high (roughly). I see your point about the stacked doors taking up space…this has been useful!

OK legoman, any idea of cost? So far we have been quoted 1150 to replace existing layout with the same in UVPC and 1900 to replace it with UVPC bi folds. If the ali is white, what does it give that the UVPC doesn’t? Is it a thinner frame or something?

For reference, the french doors in the background are the ones in question. Tony, given that everything else will be white I think the ali ones might look odd. I agree they look great in the brochures though![/url]

Trouble with this is one idiot staff member in a shop could drive a customer away (and to threads like this). At least keep it to the OPs experience of consistently bad!

I was told that it had to be on the same wall (or close to) as the fire. This guy was a bit of a tool so he may be wrong…

Have the two ‘steps’ (which always seemed massive to me) been paved over at the top of Jacob’s?

If you go the drill route, ensure that the drill isn’t in reverse

Not sure this would meet the romantic requirement but always had good food and loads of beers. Had a 200+ whisky menu as well but its ages since I’ve been and they don’t seem to advertise that anymore…

uhmmm, batteries are old but less ‘used’ than they should be due to my inertia in getting out of the house on cold winter nights…maybe worth a go.

Excuse my ignorance but would a user carry on with the original Hope batteries or would replacements be required? I ‘assume’ the batteries would drain quicker?

For perspective – its a little car (with a fat git driving it)

They are white rather than yellow – don’t recall whether additional signs are present. Anyway, usual fat slob parks there every day and I’ve had a word twice – no effect. Guess its a call to the local police to see if they have any interest. Its a very busy road and traffic is always backed up due to all the above mentioned school run shenanigans – this guy however, is the only one arrogant enough to park there…

There’s a ped crossing bang in the middle of them, right in front of the school gate…

Seems they are less bothered about the relationship than you are…full amount as long as you have “some” evidence of what was agreed. Any other subbers on the project that could vouch for you – they might be getting the same treatment. There’s no need to get rude or aggressive but firm and stay firm.

Look at Stovax website – pretty sure there were some on there. Nice modern looking things – I was looking for wood burners at the time so didn’t pay too much attention (beyond – will she notice if its fake wood and I don’t have to bother cutting wood anymore…)

There were some cracking modern stoves on a thread here quite a while ago. Thinking of a nice red one that someone had – cannot find that thread though!

They had similar issues a few years back with our cousins from the Emerald Isle flogging upholstered furniture – all of it was death waiting to happen – no FR foams. I would steer well clear…

Did both of mine at Slickrock many years ago. Two GPs on the same trip said bruising and don’t worry. Riding two days later which was fine uphill – first bump however and you’d have probably heard the screams back in England. A few weeks off as I remember, which was longer than it should have been as they didn’t spot the second break for a fortnight!! My advice – ignore the slings if you can, I got more movement back in the “non-diagnosed” and therefore non-slinged arm.

Plenty of HDMI – I’d just have to buy another adaptor and I guess I’d prefer not to seeing as its short term. Maybe only option…

1 in 25 years – 49 in a 30 zone…in an Austin Allegro! I was amazed it could go that fast – copper had no sense of humour sadly…
