6k for year in question and estimated for current year – admittedly payable next year!

As I said, someone I know! I only wish I owed that much…

Any idea how long they allow and whether or not they apply interest?

I had them done over two years ago – Rehau profiles, white uvpc. Bodged by the fitters, bodged again and now they are into liquidation. Looking at a sizeable bill to get them replaced – will go aluminium this time. The concept it self works IMO but be careful who fits them.

If its a cold damp garage I’d be tempted to put some wood fibre or Thermafleece in there – much better moisture control that way.

Whatever the small print – if it bothers you just send it back under distance selling regs. Or get cc involved if you used one. I would consider a change of spec to be another brand of tubeless ready tyres rather than what you received. The former Ok (ish), the latter not IMO.

Another surprised voice for “why the hell hasn’t Renton’s Mondeo sold?”

The double cash back is over I think – there was a date limitation on it. I managed to get it for the HX90 that I bought.

Have you emptied the separate ‘Trash’ option within iphoto?

I just see it as an enforced break from work, which long term is a good thing. Otherwise life just rolls on and on! Personally I need to get away from idiots at work and can just about suffer the Xmas BS as a mechanism for doing so.

The ban running at the same time as the jail sentence or beginning after release?

Think this lot have taken over Direct Golf as well – used to be a great online shop, now full of Dunlop rubbish! Still, Sport Direct will never suffer when selling merino tops at £15!

I had a nuaire heated version fitted last week. Faint hum when right underneath it and not that visually intrusive. I’m not sure the heater is set up properly in mine at the moment as the air it circulates feels cold to me. It has dried things out very quickly and people mention that they feel the air is much ‘fresher’ now. The damp issues were minor though in our place.

I paid £313 for mine plus fitting costs

EDIT mine has programmes that can be selected to determine when the unit is on. Over 23 degrees and it goes into standby

Ah ha. Shall be trying that out later – always thought the Yeti was useless for bikes but that will help! I knew they slid forward etc but complete removal changes the game!

Bugger – OH has a Yeti on lease, didn’t even know that the seats came out! You lot mean the whole back seat?

MOst places are selling Pro V1s with free ‘personalisation’ if you wanted to go that way! Then its the ProV1 or the ProV1x – choices, choices.

I’d ask him if I were you.

I’m with lerk – charity shop all the way for my bland offerings! The charity wins and I’m not losing much.

No idea but back EVERYTHING up – so many stories of people losing stuff. MiL lost three years of photos…

Factory reset did the trick, I’ll shut up now.

Nope – sky box fine. It went dead so quickly I feel something has gone pop inside – wasn’t getting any issues with it at all until it fell over!

    Bought August 2014!

uhmmm – checked the old Sky box and that works fine. So I’m left with a re-tune or call to Humax?

    Have fun.

    I want one too!

    Thanks all

tinribz – how did you resolve your issues?

The settings show no signal for either tuner. I will check the dish but it worked fine after the recent winds etc.

Will dig the old Sky box out of the loft and see if that works.

I Have some old Shimano brakes but chucked the old pads. Anyone know what code they equate to on Superstar’s chart?

    They are BR M765?

    Cheers

Thanks for that Alex – took a look but decided that the HX90 was probably the better bet for me. Got it for 209 with double cashback and Quidco.

Witnesses will lie in court all day long. They will do so quite badly though in my experience – make your insurance company do what they are supposed to do and take it to court. Make sure you get to court early and have some time with your barrister – these guys/girls go from one case to another and 15 minutes bringing them up to speed will help you enormously.

flywheel was an “if it needs it while we’re there” type quote. Won’t be done if not needed (I know nothing about clutches).

    cb

its 1.8 and petrol. Quote has come in around 450 for the clutch with another 240 if flywheel needed. Inc VAT.

Quote seems in ball park then – thanks. Dilemma (not my car) whether to fix or risk the money on bangernomics alternative for that kind of money.

    Cheers all

ANother update – company involved will also be interviewing drivers separately with view to disciplinary if deemed appropriate. Seems that complaints do get taken seriously sometimes!
