It waould be a shame to miss out on the stench of urine in the changing rooms of the water park – its a real draw! Then the queues for the rides in the water park, then the surly staff shutting rides early ‘because they want to’. Other than that I’m a fan!

This Conservative government is too weak and divided to deliver a Brexit deal that meets the needs of our communities, already under huge pressure from years of austerity.

Labour has put forward an alternative plan to seek a close and cooperative relationship with the European Union, including a new comprehensive customs union with a UK say, close single market alignment, guaranteed rights and standards, and the protection of the Good Friday peace agreement in Northern Ireland.

All this talk of Labour’s policy being so clear and well stated…surely a simple paragraph on the Labour Party website wouldn’t be too much to ask. You know, explaining how they want a second vote, with remain options. So that the non ‘politically astute’ (like me) know who we should vote for…

    Instead, we get the above..

So, when we need grown up polticians acting selflessly for the betterment of the country, we get two spoilt ballot papers in the Tory leadership vote!! Elected representatives spoiling their ballot papers!!!

I wonder if Rory draws poos or knobs…

Why row back – some of the fees mentioned the OP has already agreed because he caused the damage. Sure, refuse point blank on the bog but why advise him to renage on his repsonsibilities. This whole system is let down only by tosser landlords and tosser tennants. Promoting an arms race of tosser behaviour doesn’t really help.

There are rules around Trade Marks – can’t be descriptive of what you do for example. You can get some free advice from some pretty good companies before you commit, including reasonable estimates for doing the job properly.

On A PCH deal there’s no need to be bent over for a large deposit, you tailor it to suit you. Forget local as well, lease cars can be delivered from anywhere. I live in the North West and our car came from Cardiff.

Get on What Car Lease site and search the special offers. As Cheers up there mentions, Skoda used to be excellent but no longer those kind of absolute steals around. Also depends on the type of car you want, I’ve seen 1.5 TSI Leons at just over 4k for a 2 year lease at 8k miles per year. Pretty basic car but not a shabby option either.

A 290hp Leon Cupra with DSG, leather and all the toys for 7.4k on the same terms. Not bad for such a performance car.

We’re after a replacement for a Tiguan and that’s proving expensive

We’re looking at renewing a lease now and although seemingly expensive these days, its likely we’ll stick to a lease (PCH type 2 years) rather than buy. Some cracking deals on Merc C class estates at Drive the Deal though if that’s your thing (to buy).

I think much depends on how painful that initial outlay is to buy, having to take a loan increases the liklihood of leasing I think. Don’t be put off by the deposit though, most leases will allow you to tailor the deposit versus monthly payments.

Yes, sorry, understand that the lease company is the owner. Just seeking any views from someone that may have been through the same. The letter came from the official route rather than forwarded by lease company. I guess the lease company just respond to the NIP rather than letting the driver know necessarily.

Not all soundbars need subs – Sonos Beam for example. I’ve just hooked up a Naim Muso – no sub needed for that…

Plenty of horror stories around now for Dunster House – they were also pretty agressive with the sales techniques when I spoke with them. I used Gardenoffice.co.uk

In Macc, Sainsburys have to do something as its right next door to the busiest park in town and walking distance to the hospital, and right next door to the private school in town…there would be no room for customers! Even with this, they tend to leave passive aggressive notes rather than fine.

I’ve never seen a parking attendent in Tesco as that would require the fat arsed parking fee avoiders to walk up a hill…

I’m confused as to why they would ever think they had a right to enter your garden in the first place? Is it ‘obvioulsy’ your garden or some overgrown grassy path behind a fence?

Direct Line. Not on comparison sites. I tried this year for first time in years and saved 50 quid

Johndoh, why not photograph and send to your local PCSO rather than the Head? I reported one fat **** that parked every day on the zigzags and the PCSO turned up. Fortunately he was so incredibly stupid that he did it again right in front of her. He never did it again, despite never having seen the PCSO again either…

Guess how slim his kid was…?

Blimey, already out of my depth! I’m guessing nylon. Certainly not electrixc, should have made that bit clear.

In terms of versatility, how do the classical and steel acoustic vary?

I don’t get the whole “Lib Dems” aren’t viable rubbish. If they best match your political views then vote for them. I may well double the Lib Dem vote count here but I’d rather that than just try desperately to be a “winner” and pick the likely Tory/Labour MP.

Considering the number of p*ssed up morons at Manc airport bar at 5am every weekend heading abroad, I’d say the stag wasn’t being overly indulgent here. If most of you ride I’d dare say you (they) wouldn’t think twice about dropping £200 on new bike parts when they break? If the stag is a proper mate then just go. Nothing stopping you, quite rightly, pushing back on expensive booze for the house though.

I’d also echo Lunge’s comments about trying to get a group of blokes to offer suggestions / thoughts! If the weekend of mtbing was proposed, the simplest thing in the world would have been to say “yes, but I need cheap accomodation and will be happy to sort my own nearby if you want to spend a bit more”. Obvioulsy aimed at all the group, not just you tj

I’ve asked the retailer and got a vague answer. No problem with warranty in that they will treat it lke a new product, just restricted to 12 months. For the relatively small saving I think I will wait and try and pick up a new one at some time. I missed out on Black Friday when some really good offers were around. Its a Naim Muso btw.

Uses re-processed rather than refurbed, which is why I’m a bit confused as to whether its used and returned or just items that may have been displayed or such like. Agree with taxi that 15% makes the risk dubious.

Lawyer – not to act as “talk to my lawyer” role but to advise you in advance of having those discussions. It will allow you to avoid pitfalls and keep your head clear from a legal perspective.

I would have thought staying in engineering to be a good move – they seem to be in real demand at the moment and changing discipline might not be too much of a stretch, assuming you’re good at what you do currently.

We’re struggling to find a good process engineer because we’re a very small company and can’t compete financially with the big guys.

Does the school not offer an after hours type club? Might be cheaper than cabs – our youngest uses the after school option one day a week just because she loves it. Breakfast club also widely used at our school. Effectively you could have 07.45 – 17.30 cover if you needed it.

teethgrinder – thanks for the offer but unless these are ‘on the small side’ I’d need a L rather than XL.

Good job AlexSimon, hopefully 19 others have been as inept as me and still want shirts!
