Went to Mazda to look at the CX5 for the OH, they had the 30th anniversary MX5 in the showroom. Never had an interest before but that thing was damn comfy! Maybe its a reaching 50 switch…?

Write to them. You have 14 days to arrange collection, otherwise it gets chucked / recycled / ebayed. You’re not a warehouse for them

That’s the problem Eddie, nothing listed!! So its come off our cc, linkedin to PP, in turn linked to itunes and NOBODY knows what the hell has been purchased! Can’t work out how anybody has gained?

Will cc refund small amounts though? Thought protection kicked in at 100 quid?

Also keep in mind that some unis will be more flexible than others. It sounds like she might still be unsure even after choosing her degree course (many are) and the right uni will allow her to change her mind and plot a different route forward after year 1.

Update from here too…we opted for full face Decathlon jobs for the kids and they loved them. I was pretty strict with them in terms of nausea, headaches etc get the thing of your head and take a break. Never really happened though and we found them easy to remove rather than the difficult process some had mentioned.

I used a normal style as I’m whiskered up and didn’t want a full face leaking on me. I had far more issues keeping de-misted than the full face versions. The dive school suggested burning a silicon coating off my mask and even using toothpaste to keep it clear. In the end the best option was the old spit and rinse – I had been cleaning it too much!

I found the traditonal variety of mask gave better peripheral vision. As an aside, it was fascinating to see the island’s marine biologist snorkelling – just diving down deep and seemingly staying there for bloody ages – all calm and gentle, god knows how she did it!

Wow – that really is limited! Would love to see this at imax but nothing near Manc by the look of it.

Ecodek is wood flour, polymer and a few additives. Bit of a UK success story though recently bought out. Still made in Wrexham if supporting UK industry over China imports important to you

Ah, naughty step for me then…

I’d only want it for offline watching of subscription services that I already pay for as FF mentions above. Hadn’t realised how useless the Mac is for this stuff.

footflaps – luddite here. Torrent means download for watching offline later or streaming from an ‘unofficial’ source and watching live?

Renewed now with Pedalcover, they did mention that Axa is being particularly harsh on water escape claims.

Thanks for PSA – got me looking for the offspring. If colour is not an issue, Amazon has the Blue one for 94 quid but also including an Echo Dot and the charger. I’ve already gone the JL route!

You sure you’re not getting your BOOMS and MEGABOOMS mixed up? Free charging base but normal price for speaker. Its the MEGA that’s 160 notes

stevemuzzy – on expensive bikes, say >2k?

I’ve been trying to get a better quote all day and Pedal cover by far the cheapest at the moment. Axa direct had small limit on bikes, JL were horrific cost, as was lv.

I don’t think I’m in a particulalry bad area but I’m looking at upwards of 900 quid!! Last year’s escape of water claim seems to be killing me – is that an area of well known fraud or something?

Did you go with Laka – looks complicated!

I’m in same situation although my claim was for a bust water pipe – gone up £200. Still need the bike cover, although a lot of mine are >10 years old now and that gets 50% cover with these guys.

I’m the same with Asgard as well.

OK – its fixed. Its looking like user error!!

As we use the Muso for the sound output, we were advised to reduce the volume on the tv remote to zero, to avoid two sounds blaring at us.

This was done hence the months of perfectly OK operation. I suspect that someone has also decided to reduce the volume on the Humax, which seems to have led to zero sound on the SD channels. Still confused as to why the HD channel sound remained fine but at least its all functioning again. This also allows a matching of SD volume against HD volume – previously SD was lower than HD.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

Assume the full face ones allow you to go under water? Valve in the snorkel keeps water out? All snorkels may do this these days? The ones we had as kids just let water down the pipe!

Thinking about this, it must be a setting somewhere.

It has worked fine, it now doesn’t.
HD works so sound is getting through somehow, not as if the TV or Muso is completely shot.

Will try the old off, on again routine and the re-tune.

The newest part of the system is the Naim Muso that I am using as a soundbar but it has worked for a couple of months

I tried changing output to stereo from multi-channel but that didn’t help. I would point out that it has worked well for a long time prior to this happening.

This CO2 build up, are we talking after hours of use or possibly minutes? Warning I guess is sudden and not being able to breath?

    cb

Re-tune a good shout – will try that. Yes, all SD channels. Stuff recorded from SD channels also silent…

Thanks all, really didn’t need to read about CO2 issues! Wouldn’t have even considered it tbh. We’ll try the Decathlon options.

    BBC website 7th July
Labour should ‘get on with’ changing its Brexit policy to support a second referendum, the shadow chancellor has told the BBC.

John McDonnell said Jeremy Corbyn was “rightfully” trying to build consensus, but added the party needed to reach a position “sooner rather than later”.

“I want to campaign for Remain,” he said.

TJ, its nowhere near as clearcut as you claim. If McDonnell is pushing for clarity, how can you possibly argue that it is already clear?

Maybe these ‘stars’ should wear the clothes again rather than giving them away? I have fleeces from uni days and I graduated in 1991…
