z1ppy, well played, over zealous, over thinking do gooder into complete dick in one fell swoop.

The breeder we used was a dog lover, pure and simple. She didn’t churn out litters every year, she vetted potential owners not on their intimate knowledge of the foibles of a particular breed’s toenails but on whether she believed the dog would be going to a caring home.

So self evaluate yourself…as much as you can handle…nope little bit more…keep going

z1ppy – all well and good moralising mate but the dog home wouldn’t give us a dog!! New to dog ownership apparently ruled us out! As you can see, Jurgen is suffering…

I had the same thing years ago with Motorpoint, as duncan says, they did honour it in writing and knocked a silly amount like £100 off the price (reluctantly). They then had to fork out for a new alloy as when I collected it one was scuffed. They said tough luck, sold as seen, I then pointed out the extra 200 miles on the clock from time of purchase to collection and that it was fine when I viewed it. Seems like a staff member must have been ragging around in it.

Mixed views on MP, I would use again but be very careful with inspections and details like the OPs. If you are at all concerned I would reject – they promote warranty balances and if Suzuki say no then its down to how much faith you have in MP.

Just had my PedalCover renewal through, gone up by 40 quid with no claims and level of protection massively reduced, which is an arse as I’ve just bought an Asgard!

There really is no point to PedalCover anymore, for cyclist specific stuff.

reluctant – that’s a good way of looking at it, she gets to understand the concepts rather than just following instructions. Now I need to re-read 1100 posts to find all the necessary upgrades!

Uhhmmm I tuned in early to this thread and then faded away as upgrade mania took over from building plywood ramps.

I’m back as my teenage daughter is really keen on tech and design at school and I’d like to build one of these with her, then elbow her aside and hog it for the ragging around outside obvioulsy.

We’d decided on the Lunchbox but looking at recent threads it seems as thought they ain’t that great at the actual driving bit unless they’re modded. Are you guys modding because its really needed or you just having too much fun?

If the Lunchbox is a bit crap then what would be the best option for beginners to this that aren’t interested yet in anything bar the standard build?

Also a general question, when I were a boy etc etc the radios were two stick types, most seem to be these wheel types now. Why is this and is there a downside to asking for a shop to supply the stick version?

One additional question on this – do I actually have to be active on FB in order to use the Marketplace i.e. do I need a proper FB account?

Any way I configure it at the moment helps a little in terms of stopping the light getting knocked out of the mount but certainly wouldn’t stop the light flying off should it leave the mount.

Not a big issue at the moment as its the only light I’m using but when I start using it as a back up I might not notice it gone!!

We had decided that Spain at the end of July wasn’t happening and were prepared to lose the 300 notes deposit for flights. BA has now cancelled the flight, which surprised me a little! Manchester to Malaga

Supernova, the breeder told us that his mum stole a whole frozen leg of lamb, all that was left was the shrink film!!

Does your come riding with you? Not on a bike, that would be silly, but will he stick with you on a ride without exploring the front wheel with his nose?

    We used http://www.thegardenoffice.co.uk

Nice company to deal with. We’ve had ours for five years now. I think if you want something like you show in your link, you’ll be doubling your budget. Ours is ~4mx3m and came in at around 11.5k excl VAT

The company seems to have grown a great deal in the last 5 years and has two showrooms now. They gave a small discount before if you actually visited the showroom and offered a free site visit beforehand to check suitability.

There does seem to be a gap in the market between the rustic self assembley and these guys!

Yeah, shimmed one corner to sort the LHS door but shed is flush to the house so difficult to shim from the other side! Apparently the ramp was supposed to be fitted before assembly of the structure…including that on the instructions would have been helpful!

Annoyingly I’m going to have to wait until a mate cam come over post virus to help with the shimming as that’s definately a two person job!

    cb

tallpaul – was yours perfectly flat or did you use shims to level it off? I just cant get mine level enough for the RHS door to close! Can’t get the ramp underneath either!! Did your just slide in or did you have to lift the shed somehow?

6 bike version and put up at the weekend. If I can ever get the doors level I might be able to comment on how good it is!

Have things changed again at Terra Nova – can’t believe how bad their service is now! I know they and Wild Country split production etc many years ago but I contacted them probably 8/9 years ago about pole issues on a then ~15 yr old Quasar – they responded quickly and offered free repair.

Having recently bought a Hoolie from them I’m just hoping it doesn’t break…

Nothing in it at the moment. might try a block of wood between it and the house as you suggest. Bit frustrating as I expected these things to be solid as.

Does BIN cost more to the seller?

The Frog 55 that I’m selling is immaculate (couldn’t get the daughter interested in it) and they seem to be £330 new. Trying to be fair on the pricing but recent threads on here suggest a bit of ebay madness going on at the moment. I had it up on the classifieds here for 225 posted but didn’t get a sniff.

Not sure if I was expecting too much or the classifieds are a waste of time?

    cb

Ok thanks, also hadn’t realised that people can make offers – I don’t have a BIN option but there does seem to be a button ‘Make an Offer’. Not sure that existed the last time I used ebay!?

2 offers have arrived in the last few minutes, a resonable i.e. not entirely insulting one and a complete chancer offering less than the starting price!!

    I’ll let it run!
