Yes Love Brechfa, and the man made bits are great at seeing how fast you can go before losing it against a tree!!!

You should see some of the trails we use. I have always stated that the best bits of Brechfa are the natural gully step down tracks. I ride Brechfa 3-4 times a week and never been bored yet. Never done the red route as it's designed and never the Black either.

Hey Ambrose, I did it once with Nick Cooze a long time ago, brilliant ride, didn't have a clue where I was. Isn't some of it on the Sarn Helen?

Inserting bushes into a fork requires specialist tools (read that as well on the mtbr forumn). Best bet is have a word with TF Tuned to see what they say. Every fork I have sent off has come back better than new.

Same as has been said as above I had one, coming from an 04 s-works enduro, I tried my best to get on with it. The rear wasn't as good as 4-bar. The new on I haven't tried but supposed to improve what I didnt like. The new ASR5 will overshadow the 575 from now on and it won't be long before the 575 gets another version, I reckon. (ASR6)

ENT ICU and trauma orthopaedics for 14 years here, went into it as I wanted to look after people. Luckily still can and have a direct action on the way people are cared for, yes it can have it's bad points but the negatives far outweigh the negatives. One question you will be asked is "why do you want to be a nurse". I do seem to think that those who teach in nursing college are so out of touch of what nursing is all about. One minute your wiping bums then the next your dealing with someone being told they have cancer and wont survive.
There's a lot to be said that some professions can't understand the way your going through, i.e when your on night shifts and feel totally washed out, but if your relationship is strong enough. PS it helps when you've finished at 10pm and you have an assignment in the next morning you have someone who can help.

I saw the base one yesterday. (red) and the changes seem great for the frame, very nice, the parts are adequate, the fork I would consider changing.

Takes me back to my childhood and Fairford and Brawdy airshows….As well as hearing a Vulcan and Lightnig for the fist time. I was convinced that Vulcan was going to crash any minute. Brother in-law now works in the Rolls Royce engine dept.

What's the warranty on a meta? There's plenty of aluminium welders about the place.

Cant see why not it is a 4-bar design and I like those. Have a word with Si, It all comes down to cost etc etc. A comlete bike is cheaper, I had a 08 S-works carbon enduro with headset without the seatpost for £849…

Another enduro SL evangelist here, and that fork once Tuned by Neil at Tuned is superb. Had a 04 575 and while it was a good bike just didn't do it for me and everything I like should have been sorted on the new one. There a few SL e150 enduros about the place If you want a bargain shop around they're going fast.

Artist, Yeah, just needed to finish my car loan so they went. Hey I've sent my e150 to Neil at TF Tuned for a yearly service so money doesnt stay in my account…

From what I read of these about 280 for a pair, I want one on top and one on the bars.

    Love them to bits

    Had one of the first 07's and then bought one of these last october as I went to a Heckler but it didnt tick the right boxes for me so I bought an cheap one of these;

    http://www.bikescene.co.uk/moreinfo.php?variation=1208&sale=0

bought an 08 end of line s-works frame and fork (e150) with out a post. sold the frame form the expert for £600 so I had an s-works for £1550 then I ordered the traversee wheels from freeborn for £350. I have fitted a masterpiece post and XT Cassette carbon bar and less than 1950 have a top end bike that now costs a lot more by todays prices. It is my only bike tough yet light and all-dayer over Brechfas' man made & natural trails. Basic servicing of the fork is easy though the fork is due a major service, Neil at tf tuned is the e150 man there. I have condsidered the new 2010 Revelation 150mm u-turn maxle lite as a change

I work in ENT. Just ask for Cerumol ear drops. Just don't use cotton buds either, we don't think too much of ear syringing. Otherwise the safest way is microsuction. The ear has it's own way of cleaning itself.

I use Eskar 2 bliss control tyres on my traversee wheels, went on easy sealed well and I also use Stans.

    catnash

Fat Albert I use Albert in the back, cant fault them really, quick rolling controlled drift, but the Eskar edges it for the whole mix of my trail riding around the Brechfa forest.

Best tyres for me in that part of Wales is Eskars, the new ones coming out are even better. Tried Fat Alberts, Alberts, High Rollers, Nevegal+BG. Advantage Crossmarks. I found crossmark on the back around Brechfa, Cilycwm & Doethie Valley lethal in the wet. The trails will be wet, will be probably be the same with the weather here in the last 4 weeks and no sign of let up for the next 2 weeks.
If you want to get another reccomendation, try Nobby Nic up front and Racing Ralp in the back and get to know them. I have swamp things for winter.

That E5 alloy seems very tough though, i only use 2.25 as a minimum normally big 2’3″s up front for more cushion, I’m only under 11 stone and no problems on pressures down to 23 psi front.
