I have a husqvarna lt151 which is similar. You can convert it to a mulching cut by buying new blades and a plastic cover.

We have a standard size primus and the smaller ones for the anaethsetic rooms.

If it gets really bad they may use recovery for vented covid patients and the theatres for clean emergencies.

Haven’t a clue. I’ll have to ask as the anaethetists were teaching the regular ICU staff whereas I was getting to grips with the draegers. I do know they’re using 2 HME’s per vent and probably SIMV. I do know the scavengers in ICU were being checked for efficiency. I’ll be predominantly in recovery. I’m hoping the regular ventilators will be delivered by then.

Just done my ICU refresh day. Just played with setting up the ventilator. Working out the predicted settings. Were probably opening up recovery as a clean ICU. Were lucky further west as we’ve had more time to prepare. Waiting to hear when we do 12 hour shifts. We are going to use anaethsetic machines till the new batch of ventilators arrive. Still not that many ffp masks around. Still haven’t been tested.

What I have been told, it gets serious on the 8th day.

Finally got a mask fitting. Yesterday had a full day of lectures about ventilators and it’s been about 18 years since I left but it’s coming back. Thank god for you tube and the draeger videos. Spending two days in ICU next week as we’re opening up recovery as ICU. I work great under pressure just desperate to get on with it. Days off spent reading up on things. Trying to keep my work colleagues entertained with tons of humour….

The hinge design is terrible. I’ve reinforced them either side by 20mm by 40mm PAR bolted through the door. The first doors split and finally the wind eventually got to them by ripping the frame. I kid you not. Just unsure you have something to stop the doors binding on the frame. Good luck. You’ll be ok if the gardens sheltered well.

Same as mine. Just be careful of any winds. There’s a design flaw in the frame and door hinges especially with wind (blowy type). I’m an ex carpenter and Joiner.

Bloody hope we lock down Wales ASAP. Bluestone has just announced its closure. Lots of people have been travelling down to West Wales to holiday homes and caravan parks. Utter madness. I’m looking at 7 days of at least 12 hours a day in ICU and recovery if it gets as bad as Italy who have been on a better lockdown than us.

Staff nurse and work in theatre recovery for three years after 24 years of ward/trauma/ENT/ experience with intensive care experience albeit back in 2001-2002.
Just had 3 days off so out of it a bit. I’m back in later. But I’ve got the skills and work under pressure which IF it does get worse, there will be loads of very difficult decisions. I hope there’ll be more compassion to nurses from above. I’ll probably expect to see the Chief Executive. Never seen one in 24 years on the wards.
They’ve cancelled elective surgery only doing emergencies and trauma.

Supposed to have a mask fitting on Tuesday. I work in Theatre recovery as an RN and have trauma and ENT ICU experience so busy getting up to speed with my books and ventilators…
We’ve been told nothing from too many service delivery managers and general managers…(the whole place is bogged down with managers). It will be the Drs and Nurses who will get us through this.
If its half as bad as some have said then no amount of extra ventilators will help because we just haven’t got the experienced staff to safely use them. I have seen some anaesthetic reports on timelines and it does make for some interesting reading. I could go on and on but I feel at the moment it feels like a roller coaster when we’re on the first hill up.

Amazing news. We’ve done it took about two years in total from the initial sw coming to see us. Worth every moment of the roller coaster. Like you the first panel agreed and about a week later the matching panel. We were very lucky with our SW who always had our two children (brother and sister) in mind for us. The first time they give you a pen profile and then the pictures. Quite a bit of dust in my eyes that day. Before we started the timetable introductions me and the wife and SW were on a park bench and saw the children playing, that memory of a two wild haired children singing frozen and playing on the swing is permanently etched in my brain. Cue two little children few weeks later beaming smiles dragging along little suitcases. You’ll have regular LAC reviews and then the official adoption ceremony with the Judge, our judge gave ours toys and got them to wear wigs to make it a fun day. I’ll never get fed up of being called Dad. 6years on and everyday is amazing. Sad that they grow up so fast

I’ve recently had a great price on the aluminium comp. You can’t go wrong if you get a great price. With the money you’ve saved you can easily upgrade the casette to a gx… Though did get a set of xm1501’s. I did have a rental carbon bar and stem put on from my previous bike. I thought about a carbon comp. But after having carbon before and an aluminium Evo and fattie just felt no benefit of carbon for the price at this time. Great bikes.

Yes, more school nurses now.  I work with one when she does a few shifts with us.  Sadly it’s not all about contraception and periods.  A sad part is child protection and looked after children reviews.  Makes nits a walk in the park.  It sounds an amazing job.  They’re all very dedicated.

Nurse here 23 year plus, Now a recovery nurse practitioner, I look after everything one minute a child, next a woman, etc etc.  I’m laughing at TJ’s comments.  We wouldn’t be able to run theatres and recover if we had that mentality.  We are very sensitive to people’s wishes and dignity is paramount.  When I started I use to laugh when asked “are you a male nurse”…

I had a Auris hybrid hatch on a 66 plate from Motorline for two months but it had front end damage and a smokers car so they took it back and had the 1.2 turbo estate.  Can’t see anything wrong with either of them.  You unfortunately can’t put a towhitch on the hybrid as they’re not allowed.  The new one out early next year will.  Anyway the wife has the Auris and I’ve just picked up a Yaris, not in the hybrid as I live in the country and it was more expensive.  If I lived in a more urban setting I’d be on a hybrid they’re so relaxing drive.  Test drive if you can.

Gnusmas, so sorry for your loss, hopefully the support you’ll get will get you through the dark times just ask. I work in Carmarthen if you need anything even from a stranger just ask.

There could have been a few reasons to fail, my niece has been through the same process in Bournemouth.
She had to go back a few months. As a nurse of 20 years experience I strongly believe that Universities really don’t have a clue about the NHS and what makes a ward nurse. Haven’t seen a lecturer show their face on the wards for over 10 Years and its changed a lot since then.

Tell her not to give up.

Something I went through last week after weeks of research etc. Considered Hive but found that a true Weather Compensating unit the much better option. We live in a South facing detached house in South West Wales. Where there can be a range of temps if its sunny. Get the Heating Curve/Flow temp and balanced radiators and its amazing. (LPG so savings in this type of house is easily seen). Valliant 831 with the VR470f.

Its the same Bike Ive had for the last three months, 1st bike that tempted me to upgrade my 2011 SJ Evo. Things seem to have come a long way even from 2011. Fox fork is brilliant, rear shock I have found not wanting. You just pick any line. No punctures, tubeless set up. Live near(ish) Brechfa. Upgraded to Renthal bars and Stem.

My Stumpy 6Fattie has been so insanely fun at the downhill resort. I’ve been wondering what a Specialized Bicycles Enduro with plus tires would ride like. Imagine more travel, modern slackness and extra burliness … plus crazy traction. Well …

Have had two now, live in hilly Wales more than enough power if you ask me, have had a zetec first a standard then a zetec s. Both were 125 versions. Have a tuning box that takes it to about 163 bhp, and also the tuning box has an eco setting controlled by bluetooth. easily get over 50mpg on my 15mile commute to work..It really is an amazing engine. If I wanted more powerrrr I’d get a ST.

Keep looking for that focus, the beauty of it is the engine is light so steering is even more precise. Im on my second ecoboost. Just cant fault it. Lot more fun to drive than the golf.

Type in millbrook ecoboost focus zetec s in youtube.

Ive got the eqiuvelant of five tennis court size lawns to cut, was given a Husqvarna LT151 which side discharging, just made a mess untill I got the mulching kit, for a family lawn its the way to go with no trips to dump the grass if i had a collecting box. Quality of the grass is great now too.

You have high moderate frequency loss (nerve), if they had done a bone conduction test as well…
Can affect the way you hear speech. I’m not an expert, just an ex ENT nurse and have conduction hearing loss with a bit of high freqency drop off.
