Currently got a 3 year old Fenix pro 6, great bit of kit.  Only reason looking to upgrade is better battery as doing a 110k in the south of France in October.  Probably take me 24 hours plus and don’t think the 6 will last. Also want the 51m as my eyes are not great :) Not bothered about the 8, voice, speaker etc…. no need.  So choices are the new Enduro 3 or Fenix 7x Pro or Epix Pro Gen 2.  All down to the best deal over the coming couple of weeks.

La Roche-Posay is great.  Instagram is always pushing Bld Bros, no idea if that is any good though.

Hopefully Chamonix week before Xmas, been last two years and struck lucky on snow, so fingers crossed.  End of Jan Mayerhofen where I have not been for a long time and mid March Morzine both booked already.

@kamakazie also looking at the Peter Blake, a few on Ebay & Chrono24.  Would you only buy from the UK, what about from Europe, Japan, risky??  Also anywhere else I should be looking?

Looking to pull upon the Singletrack watch wisdom please!  Small inheritance from my Uncle last year and want to buy a watch as a memento.  Currently scouring Chrono24, Ebay for a Omega Diver 300 second hand.  Does not have to be perfect as good to see a watch lived.  Bracelet would be nice for smarter occasions, but probably shove on a Nato/rubber strap 90% of the time.

Just want to know the pitfalls, any model or year I should avoid?  Serviced a deal breaker? Papers and box, does it matter? Not buying to retain value, but to use.  Cheapest I have seen is £1,400, most I would probably spend is £3k.  Any help greatly appreciated.

I cannot even remember when I last saw a policeman, other than at an airport. The chance of being actually stopped is slim to none, and to be searched?

Enjoying Bloodhounds on Netflix.  Just discovered Dave on iplayer and went through first series, totally stupid but pretty funny and love all the cameos from rappers to Bieber.

Hi Andy, I live in Hexham up on Yarridge Road not far from the racecourse.  I seem to only do running these days, and really need to dust of the MTB/cyclocross bike!  I used to know most of the routes over Slaley, Blanchland, Edmundbyers, Bolts Law etc… although I am an expert in getting lost :) and it has been a while.  I’d be up for a ride out anytime.

I’ve had for a couple of years since clearing out my Uncle’s house, 100’s of 78’s records.  All show tunes, classical etc… probably worth loads but absolutely no idea where to move on.  Just keep putting it of and continue to trip over them in the spare room.

God I’m confused or a bit simple.  So if on June 1st I go to Andorra for 2 months and Montnengro for 2 months(I know travelling between the two will use up days in the Schengen) and then 2 months in France/Italy wherever I would still have a month spare in Europe to use at a later date?

I’m planning a long trip this summer, was going to spend a month in Andorra and a couple in Montenegro as these are not in the Schengen.  Just have to make sure get passport stamped in and out as proof.

Daughter has been and loves it.  As per retirement thread, Montenegro not in Schengen so planning a month there to run/hike in the mountains. No solid plans yet, so watching thread with interest.

55 in March, recently split up with my wife and sold the house.  Money tied up for 12 months to gain interest and make sure I don’t waste it.  Planning to hand my notice in to my boss come spring.  Plan to head to Europe and non schengen countries to try and stretch out 6 months of exploring.  Excited yes, scared yes, but as already said how long have we got?  Could be financial suicide, but ***k it!

Was out on my Speed Triple round Kielder last night, and thought a Himalayan would be perfect for all the lanes that I did not dare explore on mine.  Currently on Auto Trader :)

Set myself a target to run at least 3 miles every day in Jan. Carried on into Feb and am on a 36 day streak with 175 miles ran. Just trying to create good habits.

I did it on the motorbike in September. Newcastle ferry is nice and easy on a Tuesday evening, couple of pints, food, reasonable kip and you are in Holland. I pottered down through Belgium/Luxembourg and stopped in Epinal. Thursday lunch in Lausanne and in Chamonix mid afternoon. Coming home I did in one hit, left Chamonix Friday morning at 9, bombed to Dover onto the tunnel and made it home to Hexham half 2 saturday morning. Frozen and knackered. Probably do again in summer.

Solid start with a half marathon boxed off, feeling smug. New Saucony Ride 15 in the sales at sportshoes were great straight out of the box.

Salomon cyber week email just landed, 30% off lots of running/hiking kit. Sportsshoess.com seems plenty, also Nike 25%. You could spend a fortune, I’m trying to delete the emails without looking!
