sponging machine done his in afan, followed by beers in glyncorrwg then on to fluid nightclub in maesteg (interesting) was a good beery weekend with no real trouble apart from a few glyncorrwg locals taking a dislike to one of our group having a quiet 5mins on his own outside our guesthouse (mistake on their part, he is a double hard b'stard with lightening quick instant bursts of phenomenal violence)

i'd go there again for a stag do, it was a real hoot.

sorry about spelling couldn't be arsed to look up how to spell the welshy names

i loved that article, in my job i see too many people suffering ill effects of old age so its nice to read that some lucky ones still have good health and are really enjoying themselves.

valve at top, i push down on tyre with palm of my hand and squash the tyre down against the rim normally inflates 1st time with a track pump doing this. try seating the tyre down by thumping it with the palm of your hand thats anothe thing i do before inflating.

    good luck

£1k for something you cant get wet isn't great on an off road bike IMO. what happens when you come across a river or a very deep puddle!!

incidentally how do alfines cope being submerged..?

we had the pleasure of camping next to Sam of singular fame at the 24/12 this year, (my little lad liked that cos he is called Sam too), so i got to see their bikes up close, (the first time I've seen them apart from in pictures) I have to say with the styling/colours etc they look **** lovely, if I had the money I think I'd get one.

    nice bike mate.

I am interested in just how people get on with rigid forks though, i rode some of the gap route a few years back with the Mrs and used her fully rigid for some bits and it shook me to the point where my biceps were burning from being shaken around too much. I couldn't imagine using them for any long periods of time..

had issues with my candy sl's, frequently unclipping (generally in mid air) to the point where i changed them for time atacs (which fell apart) now on shimano xt's (dunno number) but they've lasted for a few years now no servicing and smooth as when i 1st got them still, so its +1 for shitmano from me.
