ive done the walkers haute route. loads of hike a bike and unrideable descents glacier crossings would make it hard work i reckon,

i'd learn to do it yourself. if i were you.sure at 1st its time consuming and you will make mistakes but its not that hard and makes maintenance and fixing your bike easier/cheaper in the long run.
just look up youtube 'how to' or park tool website.

fwiw i have some juicy ultimates and have had some problems but some new piston seals sorted it out.

eh? do you mean the one within the freehub if so then no its the correct one as it was working before i stripped it and all freehub bits were kept sperate from the rest of the gubbins as i did the jobs at different times.
