go BMCC instead, uplift doesnt stop for lunch they are friendly and actually appreciate the business and the tracks are very good, i think we got around 15 runs.
After my last visit to bpw rude staff and a poor total of 8 runs and a lot of waiting around I wont ever go back again.

their customer service for me has been excellent, I lost a bolt (specific shape) which was replaced very quickly and also contacted them today with a query about my rear shock, email answered by lunch time.

that mafia looks ok, unsure of wheelsize though
    my 2 (9 &10 yrs old)are on a 18″ kink kicker and 18″ we the people curse.

definitely get the correct size wheels (16″ or at a push 18″) as i see loads of nippers struggling around on 20″ full size bikes at the skatepark.

rocker bikes aren’t very good imo very sketchy and I wouldnt imagine confidence inspiring for a 5 yr old

    my experience of them are

hope M4…constant fettling from day one, always having to centre the pads and play about to get a decent lever feel, and they failed in the alps this year. would never buy again.

guide rsc…been faultless and I like the lever feel they’ve done 2 weeks in the alps this year with no problems…would buy again.

Zee…..have these on my dh and they’re amazing, great power and feel..
    would buy again…

    mike smith/speeder has it…

I had wrist surgery last year so have to look after mine too..
done 3 weeks there this year, 1 on a dh and 2 on a strive, definitely better on a dh, but with the esi chunkies on I dont suffer any issues anymore so maybe try those..

yes off that lift and chuax fleurie (sp?) and lindarets, but if your little one struggles for confidence then i wouldn’t recommend it, even panoramic green has some large steep berms which could prove difficult for little ones.
the les gets green off the chavannes lift is a better introduction and not half as busy.

twas a nice little addition onto the days ride, wasnt tech at all and pretty fast in places, led nicely into the descent to lindarets too.
wouldnt do it on my own but as a family trail it was fun.

the new green at the top of the zore lift is a giggle too, definitely child friendly

taking my 2 young uns over to chatel again tomorrow, they loved the blues and greens over there the other day, riding out from morzine early in morning, is the gr5 descent from the mossettes lift ok for little uns? they’re fairly capable on reds, just wasnt sure how steep/techy it would be? and the mrs fancied something a little more xc other than berms and tables…
if you see us say hi, one lad on yellow 24″ stinky and the other on a green 24″ Orange patriot…

oh and watch out a few lads have had chalets broken into and bikes stolen. 3 chalets the night before last got done…

my youngest rides a kona stinky 24, rides it everywhere even though its not the lightest it doesnt seem to matter to him as he enjoys it..
I did swap out the coil for an air shock though as it would hardly move even with me sat on it..actually works now its an air can…

My Strive is everything I wanted, climbs well & descends well.
emails to canyon have been answered promptly and bike delivery was delayed by 3 weeks from initial delivery estimate.
I liked the longer top tube so went for the canyon over the YT and very glad I did as it fits and rides very well.
