    no can do this thursday I’m afraid, mrs is out so i’m on kids detail…
    am out for long xc on monday from 9am onwards, tuesday is road ride to whitsands and surrounding area (again from 9am) then Haldon nite ride after work on friday for a few hours…

    next week should return to normal and I’ll most likely be out on tues & thursday eve.

    Mid week/tuesday’s ride’s entry requirements are if you can stick to the pace along the cycle path then your in

    that about sums it up!! after that though it does calm down a tad, unless Si young is leading!

    coastpath to wembury is a good one,lopwell dam route through southway nature reserve is also good, strava my name you’ll find a few..
    a few of us ride from coypool tues/thurs evenings and early sunday mornings really easy paced. and around a few hours long, distance varies though! like last night!!!
    yogis good bunch of lads and good for fun/fitness/routes but they don’t stop much..! as Julian says if you unsure of your fitness then start with the thursday group, the only problem with that evening is they don’t start from coypool they drive to yelverton then discuss where they going, then drive to that place, then ride a trail….a bit of a faff for me to bother with unfortunately.

    my mail is in my profile if you fancy meeting up at all.
    I ride mon/tuesday during the days also if you have time off.

    curanail/loceryl will work with MINOR infections, IME (podiatrist) anything more than 25% of the nail infected then you will need oral terbinafine on prescription from your GP.

    you may need way more than 3 months prescription.

    i drove to the Qtox a few years ago, rode to the 1st descent where sponging machines gear cable snapped, we walked slowly back to the car then drove home…after that i always carry one, it weighs nowt and could save a long walk back…

    admittedly the rest of my backpack is sadly lacking save for a few old power links and old jelly babies.

    my old staffy (10yrs) tried to bite my 1st child through the baby gate, a day after that he started snarling whenever my son stood up (whilst learning to walk, previous to that no aggression or problems(never ever left alone though).
    I phoned the vet and discussed this, I then phoned the local c&d home (they did not re-home dogs who had shown aggression towards humans) and then I took him to the vet and had him put to sleep, easy decision.
    the mrs was at the time a theatre nurse in plastic surgery, lots of kids/people with mauled bits and pieces by dogs, so the decision was perhaps easier for us..

    just want to keep a bit of cross training up really

    @ jambo, have thought of that but if I’m going to use time riding then I think I would prefer just to go out on my mtb really.

    @iainc
    swimming would be ace, my local pool is a bit shit though so the nearest usable one is 20mins away plus nearly £4 a swim…

    @nathan
    …no snow here just yet but i’ll bear it in mind… 🙂

    @northwind, nothing too low impact just have dodgy knees. have thought about yoga but decent classes are scant around the southwest backwater!

    mucky nutz, good bit of kit…according to my buddy they are overpriced plastic tat, and I can see why people think that being as it prob cost about 5p to make…but they do the job nicely and keep the crap away from the stanchions. good for rear mudguards too keeping the crap out of linkage etc.

    if its good enough for most on the dh circuit then its good enough for me…ditched my old downtube crudguard now and the innertube between fork crown/brace.
