355’s for at least 3yrs, I’m 12.5st,and running Hans dampfs and am not really wheels on ground riding most of the time, mine have been fine bar one broken spoke.
Never noticed any flex and confidence issues, they are great.

I had one done, well worth it.

I’m used to pushing with Gawton being my local proper dh spot..

I need to get used to the way they work too, no confirmation until the night before which made one of our group make alternative arrangements, still we know for next time.

is it better if you are coming from taunton to park near blue ball pub and walk up the track past the quarry? or is that track drivable?

it would make a pretty standard xc day imo.
but i guess when its on your doorstep you know so many better places to go ride.

highly adjustable so no reason why you cant run it for all conditions, set your base tunes for your riding and record them, then if doing dh set them one way if doing xc set it another, takes minutes.

looking at keeping my 36 float r that i have for sale and just fitting an ava damper in to improve it…
the FIT upgrade is the same price from mojo (ok includes a service) and a bit cheaper from loco again for the rc2 cart but the ava cart seems a good choice for what it does…

genuinely what would you suggest instead then 5spot?
ive heard nowt but goodness about them?

I am, they feel ok, positive click in/out, heard they suffer from excessive cleat wear from walking around on them but not had it myself.

surely the speedplays would be better for your knees as they offer tons of adjustment..

normal oats (cheaper) microwaved in water, splash of milk at the end, then sliced nana or maple syrup or ground linseed…

this is the last one at newnham, i spoke to martyn a few months back, he mentioned something about sponsers wanting it to change venues.

as spangles says, scadson woods had some built a wee while ago, ive never bothered visiting but seen some footage and it looks ok, thats your lot for the immediate area.

If it were me i’d head over to cheeky haldon trails or get yourself over to gawton on the uplift. its not that far away and by far the best in the area.
