Just started getting into it, I’ve signed up for the dart 10km this year so I’m training for that. For the first time in 20yrs I’ve not ridden much, a few contributing factors in there but constant rain is high on the list!!

2rats for our children, really cool pets, not so much as a nibble of of them and they already play fetch, Mrs like them too.
As previously mentioned they are awake at sociable times too, my children love them.

@orange. It won’t destroy it if you measure the chain length the proper way, he was just mentioning that if you just add 2 links without compressing the swingarm then the tension on the mech when fully compressed will damage your mech, I’ve seen it happen on a mates alpine, not good.

Oh and 32T front chainring for me.

you should be fine, no issues with mine set up with 36t cassette and i have a zee short cage mech on’t rear, just remember to fully compress the swingarm ( i just let all the air out of the shock) when measuring chain length to account for growth.

Jay, I was yapping to matt about it on saturday, Morgins and surrounding is a cracking place to ride, I really enjoyed my day there, unsure of your immediate area though? you have your car so its not like you’ll have to ride in between places though..

every 3-6 months in my experience :(,
I’ve never had to touch my burgtecs on my DH bike even after alps trips and lots of uplifts but my pro 2’s on my trail bike just eat the damn things.both front and rear.

but if no play at rim then just a quick stripdown every so often to check its all greased and working well.

I just used the dh v/star one, very impressed over wet roots and mud, will probably get a front for the trail bike soon.

I laid 50msq of solid oak myself as one big open plan kitchen and dining room.
Looks really nice and was OK to lay just screwed each bit 3x. No warping yet 4 years on and plenty of wet dog, dropped drinks and little people doing their best to ruin it.

    Update for those that g-a-s

ordered the superlites field version. they arrived today and look really well made and robust.
I’m normally a size 9 or 43 in shoes so went for the 10’s with a welly sock on and they are a perfect fit, the ankle is narrow so i found it pretty (very) hard to get them off but they feel comfy when on, walking in them they felt ace straight away very very light and grip is fantastic, they are also very warm.
in all i would recommend them!

    oh they look huge though!

At sbob I would agree with you but the obstacles I came across a while ago were very large tree stumps and boulders placed with great care to cause maximum blockage. And remember this is a blue trail for families and beginners.
I sincerely hope they catch them.

Check the cann woods fb page for updates, it seems some people were caught in the act placing rocks and kicking in the berms.
    Tossers.
