    Ha pretty funny stories there!
Luckily I was on my own and it wasn’t a violent explosion, just a little extra on the end of a fart! Dodgy guts though! (Unsure if swimming related jambo!)

post up nearer the time and you’ll more than likely get someone to ride with, knowing the cheeky and offpiste and looping them in a sensible manner will make for a more enjoyable experience.
the off piste trails at haldon are brilliant. cafe side is amazing and really well made but some big gaps on some lines, so if you dont do air you are better off over haldon side on the red trail and off piste.
the route I sent garry is a goodun for moors area.

edit: I’d take del up on that offer he knows it very very well!

Loads to do in Morzine by the look of it, although things like via ferrate my boys I don’t think would be big enough, also I’m unsure if any really easy trails though…?

I got the one IA suggested, very impressed and pretty quiet.

oh and I use my paper for the rats (pets) and I make bricks for the burner which are good.

thanks stoner, yup proper lease agreed for the next 6years signed just in case he died before our old one expired.
Its very unnerving watching people view the property and not knowing what they want to do with it!!

I’ll get the lease looked at by a solicitor in any case.

I’ve just finished building an inbred 29er (rigid but geared) like matey above the full build cost around the same as an el mar frame.

is the el mar going to give me good value if you factor in the extra price? that’s up to you to decide. its certainly easier to set up ss with the adjustable dropouts.
All I will say is i like the way the inbred rides a lot, and I mainly ride my 150mm trail bike and a dh, rigid is actually ok!

will be riding it with rack/panniers on for this weekends devon coast to coast with the mrs.

Yes I did, I purchased a FSA orbit headset from on one for £18 around the cost of one bearing for the hope. Headset now fixed!

Edit: tried the extra shims it didn’t work which lead me to believe it was bearings goosed hence new headset for the price.

Got rigid forks on my new 29er and for general trails they are great certainly much better than I thought they were going to be!

just binds so that its waaaay harder to turn than it should be..
I’ll try another shim if I can find it. but as for 1/4 turns, it wont go 1/4 turn before being too stiff.

certainly hope so, its a brand new frame!

rickon, yes mate everything installed correctly, as I mentioned I’ve another 2 of these headsets all working well and just cant get to the bottom of this one…

    @bikeneil
literally as soon as its beginning to tighten it stiffens up, no torque at all needed to make it do this…may try new bearings…

Bearings in correctly… Will remove shims and try!

Got a new 29er yet to be built, but liked the 456 and ss26er and scandal I’ve had in the past. Never had chain suck on any of them.

I’m awaiting a mail from them ref my 29er frame that got belted by the couriers (it was very well packaged just not yodel proof it seems!), the guy i spoke to yesterday was pretty helpful, sent some photos off and now await the decision.

Got my new frame in the post today and the bloody couriers have bashed it around and I think it may have bent/twisted the hanger… Its never straight forward is it!
