Would agree with Jamie. I’ve used it in some claggy mud and my chain is 100% black gunk free… Looks like new in fact.
Like Jamie I use a dropper to apply to chain and sponge for applying to the frame so it doesn’t spray over discs etc.
I’ve already bought another 2 bottles with the discount code.
    Loving the stuff

So I tried it today. Firstly its a pain to apply to the frame without getting drips onto the disc if you have to manhandle the bike out of your house like I have to… So sponge technique from on! It didn’t contaminate it to bad though as I rinsed it off with water/rag it just made the brake a bit crap for my 1st descent then it squealed a bit then went back to normal operating after 5mins.
Got filthy dirty on a ride.
Quick rinse with the hose and it’s sparkly and clean no sponge/brush needed. The drivechain remains absolutely gunk free which was the main reason for purchasing it, and it was quiet and squeak free whilst riding.

So overall I like it. I can’t see me swapping back to normal lubes anytime soon.

I had one on my 2012 5 frame. No problems with it fouling under full compression even with big Hans dampfs on. Done it’s job well too.

I always forget my legs when I go there… Dam annoying that!
    Love raven’s descent too
Is the hairy ball descent have that awkward rock step turn just after you leave the top of NC descent? That’s fairly difficult.

I ended up surfing instead of riding so it’s going to get tested tomorrow morning…

Applied mine inside the house…. It’s now dripped the floor (luckily tiled), yes the whole it washes off pads and discs with water but makes a decent chain lubricant don’t make any sense to my tiny mind.. Still it’s worth a punt.

fwiw i only get dollars to look at too, even on the uk flag and again following jamie’s link…

so just degreased my chain, and then applied it to the frame and my chain on my DH bike…its now sparkly clean so lets see what the minging conditions of gawton bring tomorrow!!

1st impressions are that the spray makes it use a lot more than necessary and if you are not careful it will get on the discs, so for the frame etc i may just coat a sponge and wipe over, I decanted some into an old empty finishline bottle for the chain application, worked well.

Done it for about a year now. As others have said is easier to be strict for 2 days rather than calorie count for 7.
I’ve gone from just shy of 14st to just over 12st. Weight loss is very slow for me but I’ll admit I was swimming quite a few miles per week whilst training for a long distance open water event so that helped! It’s flexible, if I’m feeling weak and wobbly I just eat and do the fasting day the next day.
I also skip breakfast and eat an egg for lunch and save the calories for the evening meal… If I’m busy in work it’s easier it’s when I’m home and bored/alone that I struggle but I’m a person who loves to graze on crisps and chocolates!

Gawton uplift is sporadic. Once a month at the moment. But well worth a trip.
