last year we got over 54mpg out of our Rover 75 diesel and used £85 of fuel on our camping holiday in Cornwall.

a few mates like their big petrol engines but I just can't work out how they can afford to run them.

Mrs carlos is 5'6" and rides an xs Cannondale and loves it.

used to have an xc I-drive and a 6" ruckus I-drive , bought a P7 cheap to do up and sell but after a quick go on it pulled all the best parts from the xc fs bike and built up the P7 nice.

I only ever use the 6" bike now for gravity assisted riding unless it's an easy flat route that I need to make feel harder(for the workout)

I just upgraded my N95 for a Sony Ericsson W995 4 weeks ago and am really happy with it so far 8.1mp camera that seems to take good shots(no bike ones just pets at the moment). the menu's are very similar to Nokia's and evrything is very easy to use.

have a look on here for a user manual , maybe that will give you the answer.

Mrs carlos has had 2 engagement rings the first cost me £30 in a second hand shop in Whitby , but it was what she wanted (we later found out it has a large ruby in it not a garnet as advertised), after 6 years this ring was almost on it's last legs being old so I bought her a new ring which is a heavy silver band (she's allergic to gold , even 24K)set with a single diamond and cost me £400. Our wedding rings cost £115 for the pair and are simple heavy silver bands, they were made by this bloke->

    Orange P7
    XC type riding
front and rear Panaracer fire xc pro 2.1"
I get on with these tyres and have used them for years , find them very predictable in most conditions.

    GT Ruckus I-drive
    gravity assisted riding
front Kenda Blue groove stick-e 2.5
    rear Kenda Nevegal stick-e 2.5
These are on still cos I can't be arsed switching them for my 2.35 swampthings but they still hook up well in most stuff.

    I've known 3.

One of my dads best mates rode his motorbike into the front of a bus , apparently it was very messy.

2 blokes on my post round who I knew quite well , the first hung himself after losing his job and getting into debt and was found hanged by his wife and 2 small children when they came in from school , the second was in a bad place mentally and had severe back pains after an accident (registered disabled) and after a bit of a bust up with his wife took an OD of his painkillers. Both of them had/have gorgeous familys.

I feel so lucky to be part of a loving family , my wife and son mean everything to me and more than make up for any shortcomings in my job or occasional financial problems.

Got 2 Squire paramount+ but keep the bikes locked up in the house , +1 for not wanting to carry it around.

    single seat and clip ons?

That was the last British bike my dad owned before switching to Japanese bikes in '81 , he said it was costing too much to keep on the road.

Buzzed every other week no clip in winter , summer the same but bic all over after buzzing.

I've been losing it since I was 15 and see no point trying to hide the fact.

Used to regularly smoke weed , not heavy just 1 joint on an evening to chill but thats just a now and again thing (once every other month ish)since parenthood 5 years ago.

Tried acid once and totally freaked myself out so didn't try that again , been offered loads of others but was never interested.

as above – email stating asking for refund of the difference with 'please reply within 5 working days' otherwise negative feedback left.

    certainly not positive

Don't do this Ebay get funny about refund extorsion via 'or I'll negative feedback you' threats.

Ask for a refund due to differences to advertised but keep any feedback threats out of it .
    Then negative the fecker!!!!

I've only ever had to do fix things on the front one but the rear is probably a similar arrangement.the adapters for th qr are just a push fit albeit a tight one , then it's just like a cup and cone axle to remove the rest.

Definitely noticed the difference between 175 and 170 on my last 2 bikes, just didn't seem to have enough leverage an the 170's

let this be a warning: if you find yourself riding "The Beast" in the Peak District and think "I don't like the look of all those step downs, it'll be safer to walk", think again

LOL , that was exactly my thought as my 38lb 6" bike hit me on the back of my helmet after going over the bars coming down 'Jacobs Ladder'.

Bust my tib and fib when I was 17 (god that seems so long ago  ) , the doc's said it was the cleanest break they'd ever seen and looked like it was done with a saw.

I hit a car that turned across my path whilst riding a vespa. Being young it healed in just over 8 weeks , slept too many times to remember what it was like.

I know they aren't generally flavour of the month but the Superstar ones are pretty good , 2 years without a hitch so far on my P7

Instead of starting practice on the roads! , start at the side of your house clippining in and out for 10 minutes first to get a better idea of how much pressure it takes to release.

and unclip at least one side well before you intend to stop , you'll definately fall off still clipped in though most probably in front of a large crowd or a prety girl/woman

isn't this a recipe for never doing anything in the least bit dangerous ?

No not really there's been plenty of tv/radio coverage stating that the area should be avoided if possible.

carlosg agreed, i am one of the rescue workers and was out all day yesterday doing just that

Well done you( and I mean this sincerely) , all the footage we've seen looks so f***in scary.

One of my wife's directors was at Whitehaven on Thursday afternoon and coming home got pushed back and forth along the A66 as roadblocks went up , he finally managed to get down the A595 coast road but said the water was washing over the top of his bonnet at times.

    Amazing pics ,

however IMO it's extremely irresponsible to ride this area of the country at the moment. How would you have felt if you'd got into difficulties and put the lives of rescue workers at risk?
