Let me be the first to be ridiculed , note race number placed for modesty
Had to give up after an RTA that put me on crutches for 4 months , mind you I discovered mountain bikes after , at least if I get hurt it's usually my fault!!

Was once walking a Ridgeback for my mum's friend in a large park in Leeds , a group of lads came walking past and on purpose one shoulder barged me. Now I'm not a small bloke but I'm no trouble maker either so just tutted and gave him a mucky look then walked off , the guy went for me and the dog (afrika) went mental I'm glad she was on the leash .

They're very protective of their companions.lol , the guy must've sh@ himself

That's what we're getting once the back garden is finished and fenced this year , a neighbour had one when I was a kid and we used to love playing with him.

as a kid we had either Border Bollies that needed a thousand walks a day or Alsations (taylorplayer yours with the black head is stunning!)

I'm quite fond of a black lab/great dane cross on my post round it looks like something from 'Hound of the Baskervilles' but is soft as

If chilli and chocolate is so good then why haven't people been putting chilli powder on their chocolate all the time? In my personal opinion it is because chocolate is nicer without it.

But thats the original way with the chilli , it was adapted for European tastes by removing the chilli and adding sugar.

It's the same with tea , most people in the UK will add milk but in the countries where tea is grown it's normally drunk black (much nicer imo)

The Aztec people made hot chocolate drinks with chilli in , so not a new idea.

However it is an extremely tasty one.

stilltortoise , send a letter to your local mail sorting office detailing the surnames you wish to receive mail for (i.e. yours + dependants who may have different) and state that you don't wish to receive mail for any other surname.

The office should then have a card placed with the postmans redirections/special instructions and any post that isn't yours should be removed before delivery.

P clips are your friend , I have used them to fit racks to bikes with no mounts , you'll just need to mount the lower rack eyes a little bit higher.

Rode this around the local streets and toured in France as well , not the prettiest thing but great at what it was used for. Just upped the top gears with a 48T big ring and added drop bars , bar end shifters and canti brakes.

When we got wed 8 years ago we ended up paying £900 for our wedding shots and album , as we were the photographers last wedding before he emigrated we got the negatives and all the preview album too.

I trained with my grandad for 5 years with a view to taking over the family business then when he retired he sold all his gear under my nose without so much as a thank you! , If he'd wanted someone to carry his gear he should've said from the off , but never mind that's in the past and we don't talk anymore.

It's beyond me why you would need to take 1-2 thousand pictures , surely if you position your subjects properly there's no need. when I did weddings with my grandad he rarely used more than 6 rolls of film (medium format Bronica's) thats 90 shots , IMO it's not really a professional job if you need to take thousands of shots to get the results you need , I'm not really a big fan of the avant garde style of wedding photgraphy myself much prefer a traditional wedding album.

you know those plastic clips you get with mini pumps? , well if you cut the tabs off and smooth the base then you can bodge it onto your helmet with cable ties. i put a piece of old innertube under to keep everything steady.

the p7 torch snaps in tight as you like :D

or you could buy the one above

For our hols this year we're going for a week camping at http://www.oldmacdonalds.co.uk/index.htm on the north coast of Cornwall between Padstow an Newquay costing us £129 and then a week in a mates cottage on the south coast in Polperro (near Looe) costing £500(mates rates would normally be £150 ish more) this is at the start of the school summer holidays so I don't think £630 is bad at all.

We just had a week in Cornwall last year and 2 in Greece and both the wife and I agreed the UK holiday was far and away more enjoyable than abroad , our 4 1/2 year old agreed too. I'm already saving up pastie money , mmm nom nom.
