Can vouch for the Magura one , the fact that it has a 'no air loss' valve makes it a winner for me.

Although I only paid £20 for mine on fleabay not the RRP of £40.

Jellbaby +1 , I'm totally with you on this rant.

People opposite have a 59 plate family sized car , 2 kids , smoke like chimneys and for some reason seem to have access to a limitless supply of money. In the last 12 months they have had fitted laminate flooring throughout the house ,a brand new kitchen(on what I've seen in shops at least 6K worth), had the garden completely landscaped and new patio windows. On top of this they have a 50" plasma in the living room and 32" flatscreens in all the bedrooms.
Neither of them work or have any type of disability and nor do their children.

If the state lets them get away with this then I can't blame them really for exploiting the system , but it does wind me up that while some people have to work hard for what they have others appear to have their lives handed to them on a silver plate. Hopefully benefits is one area the new government will be taking an extra close look at. There was a debate on radio 2 a few months back one interviewee said he'd worked out that it would need a take home wage of £26K for it to be worth him going out to work! (2 adults,3 kids)

As far as I can remember the Tora's have a spacer that has 5 marked sections which can be cut to give travel increases in 10mm increments.
Removed one from a mates forks about 6 months ago to give 130mm travel.

I use some stuff a mate makes! , he works in a chemical factory and one of the lab tech guys stole his Muck-Off and reverse engineered it. Guess what only an inch and a half in the bottom of the bottle is chemicals the rest is water.
    I get 10L for £5

Vat at 20% won't get rid of debt overnight , it would only raise about 11 billion per year , maybe we should've kept Labour then they could've carried on borrowing money and increasing the debt!

There's been loads of bee's in my garden(Yorkshire) but they're mainly mason bees taking advantage of all the digging and loose earth/mud/clay in my garden , I was sat watching about 80 of them this afternoon when I should've been cutting the grass.

if you can find somewhere that still has 4 pot shimano xt pads they're rather good and fit the hope system.

On mtb nothing more than bumps , scrapes and a dislocated thumb.

On road bike a ruptured patella tendon due to a car driver not looking where they were going.

Once saw a programme on tv where they interveiwed a bloke who worked in the london stock exchange earning about 60K a year , every evening after he'd got home and eaten he'd get his rags on and go begging on the streets! Reckoned he cleared 50K tax free by begging :o

It's just a shraeder valve , buy a core remover and use one from an old innertube (if you use that type). I had the same problem on my fox float and this is all I did 12 months on the shock still holds air fine.

I bought one of these but you can probably buy the same sort of thing cheaper at a motor spares place.

yeah gotta be treasure map , my 5 year olds spelling seems really good so far but this learning phonetically is a pain as he's been pronouncing words literally plee-as instead of please being a prime example (took us 4 weeks to stop this one)

All the teacher said when we expressed concern was 'oh thats how we do it nowadays , just correct him when he makes a mistake'

Depends which bike I'm on. Neither of my bikes are lightweights I enjoy climbs on my xc hardtail but not my big bouncy bike (38lbs).The downs are still good on my hardtail but more fun on th FS.

try http://www.tanyfron.co.uk/ , the website shows it as a guest house but they have a caravan/camping site behind the house , been a few times over the years. It's on the edge of Dolgellau so a quick walk into town for pubs/takeaways and only a 5 minute drive from the trails at Coed-y-Brenin

I'm no postie, but there's no way I'd be lugging a parcel of that size around with me!

but if you were, then it would be your job to do just that.

Not true , we aren't obliged to carry any parcel over 1.125kg no matter what the size(expecting a foot postman to carry a pair of forks about  )

West Kipper what the hell are you doing carrying 20+ kg bags the limit is up to 16kg (and thats only for the first 2 bags it goes down after that to account for fatigue)if you have an accident whilst your bag is overweight they will just say it's your fault , if you can't get round your duty in time get your walk tested then adjusted.

i've been a postie for the last 12 years ,I don't drop rubber bands and never leave a card unless I can't get rid of the parcel (neighbour ect)

Looking up the chute there seems to be an obvious route down it that your mate went to one side of?

From the camera angle it doesn't look too steep certainly no steeper than a lot of the stuff on my local ride.

I had my roof replaced (3 bed semi) 3 years ago including 2 velux windows it cost me 4K , somebody on my post round just had theirs replaced at the same time as their adjoining neighbour(possibly making it cheaper) and it's cost them 3.8K.

We went to Marmaris on a £99 deal in with booking another holiday about 8 years ago and weren't overly struck , the hotel was fine a bit out of the way but the room was clean and had all the mod cons we needed , Marmaris beach was a let down , we had a fantastic Turkish bath/massage and in general the food was very tasty , being a bitter drinker I drank Effes dark.Outside the resort was nice though.

However the traders were so in your face that after a couple of days we took to wearing our travelling clothes to go out in .If you wore anything with a logo/label they were all over you like a rash. Apparently things have changed a bit and there are security people walking the pavements handing out fines to over zealous traders ,I've been told it's part of Turkeys get into the E.U. plan

My P7 is circa 93-94 one of the early ones with disc mounts , the nearest thing to it now is probably the Prestige , running 100mm Rebas and a mix of fairly hefty kit on it but I love it (got rid of an xc I-drive for it). I realised that I didn't need 2 sussers and this just felt right when I tested it.

my favourite loose tea is masala chai , we bought a spoon type affair from Debenhams for loose tea you can get a really strong cuppa as you can stir the brew.

LOL , I got told about this kind of thing by one of the lads in the office about 5 years ago and couldn't believe it.

Then about 2 months ago I went into a garden and this black cat (spawn of the devil) came running at me hissing and growling , I honestly didn't know whether to run away but decided growling back at it was the best course of action. It hasn't taught it any lessons though cos it has a go every time it's out when I deliver the post.
