£15 on clippers 5 years ago , not having to spend wads on a hairdoo every other month is the main benefit of a receding hairline. And everyone knows a skinhead makes you look rock ‘ard 8)

    Brassneck +1

My lad (5 1/2) has this now and again , we just tell him ‘the book/game/tv’ ect will still be there when he gets back and that if he needs to go then it’s only a 3-4 minute break so there’s no reason to hold it in.

My neighbors are great , but my mate just moved house as his MS was making stairs difficult sometimes . His new neighbor greeted him with ‘ you can’t chop any of the trees down in YOUR garden because I’ve taken a preservation order out on them’ not even a hello!

I’ve ridden I-drives since ’99 and really get on with the system (unlike quite a lot of people) and the only reason to get this problem is as people above have said .

The gear outer between the underneath of the BB housing back to the cable stop on the downtube needs to be longer , a longer section of outer will cure the problem!! Fact.

If the inner has been trimmed too short you might need to replace that too

Have you read any of the ‘Winnie the Witch’ series of books? my son (5 1/2) loves them . they’re all illustrated by korky Paul the same guy who did the pics for The Fish Who Could Wish and the The Dog Who Could Dig.Also along the same lines are ‘Professor Puffendorf’s secret potions’ and ‘Captain Teachums buried treasure’

    +1 for Suzy Goose (HONK/ROAR)

    What about Dr Seuss.

It’s a common problem with tora/recon/reba/revelation forks , I do hope you didn’t pay full whack for the seal kit as you can buy what you need for both sides @ £8.00 on ebay. I replaced the ones on my reba’s last week with these and they feel lovely again.

Still using my ’02 Gt ruckus i-drive as my gravity bike.

Some of the components have been upgraded and I would like a new frame but just don’t have any spare funds.

Been wearing contacts for 15 years now and I’ve never needed to use drops unless I had them in for too long. I started off on monthly disposables but now get dailies from daysoft.

edit; just a thought you are putting them in the right way? i.e. nice curved shape before you put them in (not curved with sharp edge)

Maria(top) and Rebecca , mother and daughter. We got them via a rescue place in Warrington a couple of years ago. Live indoors like our rabbit before them did.

Ho Hum, I have a 9 month old

Damn , that’s where you have me beaten mine was 18 months.

if you’re fairly fit and can rope a mate in (paid mine £80 for the day and bought brekky , lunch and tea for him) then there’s no reason not to do it yourself IMO. I would’ve been finished early but had to trip over to Bury from Leeds to pick up some dinning room furniture.

you don’t need a 7.5 tonner to do a house move a sprinter/transit with a luton back will be all you need , we moved from a 2 bed terrace (with far too much furniture) into a 3 bed semi and everything fit into the back of a luton sprinter.

(and we had 3 more bikes too 😀 )

I can’t pretend to know how it feels to lose a child so late on , I have a lovely healthy 5 1/2 year old son who along with my wife is my world.

Nine months after he was born mrs carlos lost our 2nd child at 8 weeks and then early last year we lost twins at 15 weeks. the first time was devastating for both of us and my wife spent nearly 6 months on anti depressants , the 2nd time it happened we were a little more prepared and although still a hard experience was a little easier to deal with.

Next week we have a 20 week scan , hopefully all will be well and we can let our son know to expect a little brother or sister.

as long as the rotor is the right size then all you need to worry about is the depth of the braking surface.

What type are you after? If it’s just a bog standard cro-mo rail one and you have a similar WTB pure/race ect V to swap then look no further.

I tried the Spoon but don’t get on with it like I do the WTB saddles.

The schraeder valve seal in fox shocks does perish over time , when mine did I pinched one out of an old innertube and now it holds air fine (at least the last 12 months anyway)

Up at 7.00 watched 1/2 an hours telly in bed with the family , had a lovely brekky of croissant and freshly ground coffee , met up with my mates at 10 and did a leisurely 25 miles.

Back home for 2.00 after a detour to Wickes , fixed a leaky tap and replaced a wire from the light switch to the fitting , completely stripped my Reba’s ready for replacing all the seals then took the stickers of the lowers so they can be repainted too.

Now I’m smelling delicious aromas from the kitchen and being told to lay the table!

pretty much a perfect day 8)

My wife makes this and it’s bloody gorgeous(Ainsley Harriott recipe) , supposedly serves 4 but never goes that far in our house , we also use leeks rather than onions.

    chorizo chowder

heat butter in a large pot and gently fry 1 finely chopped onion, 4 crushed cloves of garlic and 500g peeled and cubed potatoes for about 15 minutes. add 1 thinly sliced leek and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. stir through and cook for another few minutes.

add 1 litre of vegetable stock, bring to boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes until the potatoes are soft and beginning to break up. use a potato masher and roughly mash the potatoes.

slice 250g chorizo sausage into 1cm slices and add to the soup. simmer until the soup turns to a rich orange from the sausages.

the old film is ace , I’m over that way on sunday morning with some mates. I’ve never had the balls to ride down it but have seen it done.I never knew before having a look on a search but there was an Italian POW camp there during WW2.
