More stages woes. Two Ultegra G2’s both warranty replacements. Massive over reading off zero offset on one and low offset on street other. Both resulting in power drops & wildly fluctuating readings either 30/40watts under or over.
Starting to think it could be a UK based use as one of them was absolutely no probs in the alps over summer, perfect calibration reading and great battery life come back to the uk and off we go again with same probs.
I thought hey had fixed it with G2s thinking rather have G1s with piss poor battery life than the problems I’ve had with power drop outs on G2s

Yeah I can see the base map is pretty good just worried it might miss some trials but will give it a go. I have eventually found how to get the openstreet map on there but when I swapped over to it it appeared to load and run slower than the installed base map

Good & bad G1 Ultegra gave up after a long fight inc removing battery after ride & replacing it but got it upgraded to a G2, the G2 XTR after no probs ridden & raced over 8 moths in all conditions has also started to play up :-( Gotta add though the after sales from SB & Stages is beyond excellent.

Cheers sounds like it’s probably worth doing a service on them then if the valve release is only short term, think they are just over 2yrs so prob out of warranty

After months of faultless use of my Ultegra G2 stages suddenly getting power drops every 2-5 mins where it just zero’s out then spikes back up. Battery fine calibration fine firmware fine, thinking it could just be a battery door connection issue so got a new one on its way before the hassle of warranty. XTR G2 still working a treat FWIW.

Did WEMBO there so guessing same set up, car park is next to pit area but you could drive into pit area as well but there was no leaving once u there as its situated on part of course.
Gazebo yeah but you can’t peg in as the ground is hard so take some weights or something to hold it down.
Kit list – everything you think you will need plus extra & a spare you don’t wanna do a 24 & then realise you should have brought …(insert missing item)…

No probs here in fact lucked in recently ordered an exposure eqinoux and they sent me one with the piggy back battery called me & told me the scenario explaining I could keep it at no extra cost :-)

There’s that much singletrack in Epping that in the years I rode there I don’t think I ever did the same ride twice. I seriously recommend going out & getting lost, which is what was told to me when I first started riding because the truth is you can’t actually get lost especially if you know the roads all around it.

Don’t forget the forest goes all the way down to Forest Gate in East London, but as mentioned here it ‘closes’ soon so better be quick coz unless u have a SS don’t even bother once the mud comes.

Kuota Carbon X bike creaks from front end has done for years and comes & goes. Searched greased tightened slackened everything never found the cause so gave up, it still works.
